Went to this upscale outlet type mall with my family one afternoon during our vacation in Punta Cana. First of all it is gated with security, I guess like most of the resorts in the area. When we went (on a cool cloudy day), there were barely about 10 other shoppers in the mall. We had the whole place to... More

Palma Real Shopping Village is the main shopping destination in Punta Cana y Bávaro. At Palma Real Shopping Village I had find a varied of multiple brands of international prestige and varied establishments such as restaurants, banks, bureaux de change, cinema and cafes. Framed in a Spanish-style building, Palma Real Shopping Village is home to a range of cuisine that... More

From the Riu, the bus was free so worth a trip. Yes it was very expensive but there is a bank there, exchange and a chemist so very handy. There is enough to nose about for a couple of hours but most things would be cheaper at home. Hard rock cafe was nice and we saw a spider monkey and... More

This is the place to shop for nice things, or they even have a pharmacy with incidentals. Plenty of eating places, including "Tony Romas". Outdoor dining and music. We had free golf cart transportation from our resort. It is very safe, and friendly. Most of the people there speak American. Prices about the same as in the U.S., and cleaper... More

Ladies, Its the best place for some retail shopping therapy! Expecially if its a rainy day and you have nothing to do at your resort! Local hotels have a FREE SHUTTLE BUS, if not you can get a cab to take you there. See for yourself: http://www.palmarealshoppingvillage.com/ I find it better that dealing with the persistant sales people selling stuff... More

We were staying at the Paradisus so we had a free shuttle to the Shopping Village. The stores were the same as in the U.S. but more expensive and they charged 16% tax. There was a guy with a little monkey at the front who would take your picture with the monkey for $10. The monkey was cute. Overall not... More

Went here because it was recommened by some people locally, it is a Mall of overpriced crap that you can get in the states for cheaper, such as Prada, Rayban, Diesel, etc......the only thing I recommend about this place is the Hard Rock Cafe if you are in the mood for a burger. Again, if you have been to one... More

If you are used to American shopping (good malls, outlets, Amazon), you will never buy anything here, Ray Bans are $210. It's all designer stuff at twice the price you would see in the states. Also, you do not get any Dominican culture here. We bought something overpriced at Uno de 50, which was an interesting store. More
