Three Jesus loving friends with more than 30 years of experience, got together to share their Stoke and all the benefits that Surfing gave them through their life; teaching kids from 4 to 76 years old to Surf, to respect the ocean and nature in general. We are in one of the most beautiful and undeveloped beaches of the Dominican Republic, on the Punta Cana area: Macao Beach, a localism free beach where everybody is welcome, with six different breaks and one of the safest beaches to learn how to surf, and yet exciting enough for experienced surfers. Literally making dreams come true, specially for those that dreamed all their life about riding waves, for those that want to make Surfing their main sports activity, and also for those that just want to get Surfing out of their "bucket list". Surf Shack with showers and lockers.

Wow. What a great group of instructors, the owner was amazing. Very professional but even more fun. We could not have felt more welcome. I would go back again and again. Yes, it is a beautiful beach on its own, but this surf crew makes it even better. I would recommend this experience to anyone at any age - they... More

Was picked up at our resort and taken to this very clean, prestige beach. Rafael picked us up and was very personable. He talked to us about the culture/people here in Punta Cana. He made us fell like we were his friends from long ago. Then when we got to the camp we met his business parter Gustavo. Who gave... More

Everything about Macao Surf club is amazing, the staff are friendly and caring and the true passion for surfing and teaching comes through in the lessons. Love the coconut pit stop half way through! This was a great experience. The surf camp was great, very clean, and on the ocean. The guy at the camp picked us up from our hotel on time and getting back to the resort was easy and they took us whenever we were ready. The waves were smaller but we were not expecting huge waves. They speak English and... More

Warm, clear, water with fairly small waves for beginners we even saw a turtle while surfing. When we got there around 10 am it was basically empty, it was unreal since is a beautiful beach, by far one of my favorite of all the places I've been. We were able to have a delicious fresh grilled fish, some salad and... More

We signed up for the group lesson and two of us were picked up at our resort and driven the to the surf camp area. After a demonstration on land of the basics, we walked to the beginners area and everyone got in the water. The setup was great for a beginner: you would lay on your board facing the... More

Rafael, the owner of Macao Surf Camp, picked myself and my nieces at our hotel. He was prompt, delightful and guaranteed we would learn to ride the waves at his camp. I wasn't as confident as he was that he could get this 63 year old guy up on a surf board for the first time I my life. The... More

We went to Macao Surf on Macao Beach. Great lessons! I had never surfed before, my husband had as a child. The staff at Macao Surf were so helpful and kind!

We loved the folks at Macao Surf camp. Well worth the money for a private lesson! I am 54 years old and this was my first surfing experience. The instructors teach you how to get up on the board and signal to you when to catch a wave.
