Cayo Paraiso (Key Paradise or Paradise Island) was my last excursion of my DR trip after dune buggy and waterfalls. I agreed because my friend was really excited to do it. I'm not a strong swimmer so I after reading the reviews, I was a little fearful of being in the middle of the ocean. We were picked up in... More

This is one of the most amazing experiences anyone could ever have! Be careful snorkeling because there may be some danger otherwise it is amazing!

we traveled in an air conditioned bus, with a guide with a sense of humor, rode a speed boat 15 - 20 minutes to a white sand island where they had fruit and drinks for us. After the ride back we had lunch and a chance to just hang out before returning back to out hotel. The best deep water... More

The sand bank island itself was beautiful. We were told its an hour and half drive and a 20 minute boat ride. But you have to pick everyone up and then it's an hour and half. So overall with delays we spent 6 and half hours of the day travelling. It was also over booked. The guy who was our... More

Let me start by saying that the island is breathtakingly beautiful. Pure white sands, clear water, then turquoise water - darker where the coral reef is. The snorkelling was good - I couldn't identify and of the fish I saw and the speedboat ride there was good fun. The island is much smaller than i imagined - with a few... More

This is one of the best excursions in the area. Starts off with about 20 mins speed boat ride to the island where the water is crystal clear with some amazing reefs. The fish seem to go mad for bread and will swarm around you if you throw some in the water. The return boat ride goes through the Mangroves... More

Heaven on earth. Must do. Expensive but worth every penny. Water crystal clear, lots to see snorkeling. Great food, great hosts and just a great day.

this is a place what you would see in a magazine for most beautiful places on earth. We snorkled and enjoyed every minute of it. The boat ride there was so much fun. The dominican style lunch was great too.

We booked this trip with Albert in the mall in front of the Gran Ventana/Barcelo and paid about a third of that we were told the hotel would charge us. It was a full day (7.30am until 5pm) and great value. Bit of a long bus ride from Playa Dorada but a real fun ride on speedboats to get to... More
