FABULOUS If you like to party and dance this is a must see must do! Underground cavern that is a discoteque, upon entering you keep taking the stairs down to each new level. Guacara Taina is one of the most"Ritzy'" of the DR's clubs for youth around 21-25. For a price of 300 pesos,this separates the rich from the poor.The ambiance of the club is great-a large former Bat cave that boasts to hold almost 2000 people.The Music is 97% Merengue,3% Salsa, so all the Merengue nuts come here ,and get "Buck Wild!".Surprisingly,... more

This club, located on the southwestern side of Santo Domingo is not to be missed. It is a bit of a late crowd, so don't be in a hurry to get there. As I recall, it didn't even open till nine pm, but I might be mistaken. I was in the D.R. on a three month business trip and made... more
