Spacious, breezy, open - the grand boulevard in most places and at night a place to be seen More

I really don't think this is an area to spend much time. Quite edgy and the beach area is strewn with rubbish. The malecon center 'shopping mall' is very run down and mostly empty. More

This seaside boulevard is great for a walk. There are park areas along the waterfront and places to eat and drink. The only complaint I have is all the garbage that people throw over the wall and into the rocky area near the water. A goog clean up would add a lot to the ambience. More

Could be a bit cleaner, but nice to walk along. Went during merengue festival time at night and great ambiance! More

Colorful place in front of the sea, where you can talk a walk or a jog, enjoy an ice cold Presidente (beer) or have a bite. More

It a nice long stretch along the south coast of Santo Domingo. You can safely walk along for a mile just at the beginning of the Zona Colonial. Further down, it becomes more dangerous.
