We ended up at the falls accidentally. Dominica was one of our port stops on our last cruise (Amazon Cruise). We hired a taxi driver for a tour of a bit of the island from Scarborough. We booked a tour with Bumpiing Tours with Levi Baron. Our first stop was Trafalgar Falls. If you are going to Dominica, thisis a place not to be missed. Park entry is $2. If you are in Dominica for more than a couple of days, get the $10 week pass for all the forest parks. You may even want to repeat Trafalgar a few times! My family booked a tour with Ken's Hinterland Tours and went to Trafalgar Falls. The hike is somewhat difficult because you are climbing over boulders, but if you are in pretty good shape, don't miss the falls! The person from Des Moines hit the description on the head. I couldn;t of said it better. Remember it is a rainforest and you will probably get rained on. There is also a small pool of natural hot springs on the way to the falls. It is like a hottub, get in and enjoy. more
