The water is crystal clear and there is plenty to see. The bubbles were nice, but you had to look for them to find them as there weren't as many as you would expect from all reviews in travel books.

Went to Champagne Beach dive spot in January 2014. The prices were excellent - about $15 to rent a mask and fins for 4 hours. The beach itself is not designed for sunbathing, as it is comprised of large smooth rocks. There is a boardwalk that takes you to the snorkeling put-in, and a rubber mat to help you get... More

Wow. Pristine nature reserve. Feels otherworldly to see amazing fish and then turn my head and see sliver bubbles coming up from cracks in the coral. The health of this place gave me hope.

Enjoyed seeing the bubbles rising from the sea floor that appear like champagne bubbles. Also pretty coral & some amazingly colored fish! We snorkled here after going to Scotts Head and I thought that was a slightly better spot to go (minus the bubbles).

At first we were a little confused as there is not really a sandy beach here at all. We dawned the snorkel gear at it was amazing!! Lots of tropical fish and the current was light enough that our kids were comfortable to be out exploring the champagne and sea life.

My wife signed up for the Champagne Beach shore excursion when our ship visited Dominica in December, 2013. The cruise line combined the excursion with another one that visited the falls. Wife said that the beach was full of rocks and very hard to walk in to. The so called "champagne bubbles" were no big deal. All in all, a... More

Fun to stick my hand in the hot sand underwater, where bubbles of gas are escaping. Not much live coral here, and not the best place to Scuba, but fun and interesting.

you can call this a beach. If you want to sit on it you have to sit on brown, rounded volcanic boulders.

We were excited to snorkel here, but while the "bubbles" were interesting, the lack of fish and the abundance of jelly fish made it less than we had expected.

This was one of the dives we did with Dive Dominica as part of our package. Being right on the sand and feeling the heat that comes up with the bubbles was the highlight. There are numerous spots that bubbles rise so it is necessary to take a few minutes and get a few different pictures. A snorkel group was... More
