Screws is a very cool one of a kind spot. Once in the water it was great. Different polls with different temps. As we came to find out pricing did Double like others said. Still cool but pushing the top as far as worth. Service seemed more like they were not happy to be there. All in all cool place

We always take our guests and friends that visit us to Screws. They always love it and the beautiful grounds. When I went last week, April 7, I found that the prices had DOUBLED. This is both for residents and guests. As a resident, this price $20 EC, is beyond what a local person could afford. The price for guests... More

i visited this as part of a tour from our Princess Cruise. It's a little slippy, best to wear water shoes. The water is orange from the sulfur, not dirty. They have 3 pools of various sizes. The warmest one felt wonderful. Make sure you stand under the little falls coming out of the faces mouth, it feels great! Be... More

We were recommended to go here but didnt go in in the end so cant really comment on how it is. We were surprised at the quoted price of EC $ 50 per person which for 5 of us including 3 kids aged 10, 11 and 14 would have worked out at a S100 US and we only wanted a... More

Went here with a group of friends a couple times in March. They are doing work to improve the baths all the time but the natural element that you are there to enjoy.... the cooling or warming waters are amazing! From near boiling water to freezing water in the middle of this forest area is an amazing experience and at... More

The first impression upon walking up is very unfriendly, no 'Hello...Welcome to Screws...how may I help you today" and definitely not a smile. Maybe the lady woke up on the wrong side of the bed, who knows. I was with a group of friends - Locals and Tourists. I guess she thought that we didn't want to settle the fee... More

I took a trip to Screw's Sulphur Spa during a cruise ship stop. The trip was sold through the ship so I am not sure of the tour company name. We loaded into small buses and our trip was led by a delightful young lady named Jemima. The excursion actually included more than just the Sulphur Spa. Our first stop... More

Really a magical experience. Multiple large pools that are being filled by water from the hot sulphur springs, or the cold fresh water river. We went at night, which was really an intimate experience. There were fewer than 10 people there in all the pools, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves.

Relaxing and lovely. Several different pools with varying temperature. The grounds were lovely. Great fruit after soaking.

What can you say - natural hot springs of the volcano's of Dominica, it was worth the 45 min drive from Portsmouth! It is no frills, and simple, but you do not need anything else. Friendly staff and clean property, it is there to sooth you. Three pools of varying temperature, you can find one that you can soak in.... More
