We took a drive up here to see the north coast of the island. Its worth it just for the Boka Pistol. It costs a small amount to drive in and you can drive to the 4 main areas of interest.

It's interesting to see the Pistol and the terrian. Because of the hot sun and long distances I recommend using an ATV tour like Cervon Off-Road Trips, to see it quickly with a local.

We visited as part of an island tour. This is a great chance to get close to the crashing waves and see the contrast to the calm beaches. Take the lower trail first so you climb the stairs up to the cliffs as down can be slick. If you go inside the cave (you really should) be careful how close... More

We took a 7am bus from Willemstad to join the 8am jeep safari of Christoffel and Shete Boka National Parks, and it made for an enjoyable morning. Although they are next to each other, the two parks are quite different, and it's worth seeing both! In Christoffelpark, we saw ground and tree bromeliads, tons of different cacti and a few... More

This site is protected and beautiful to see once, but it's very remote. Our tour of the area include seeing the ocean's waves slamming against the shore, but there isn't anything else to see in this area.

We thoroughly enjoyed the natural unspoiled beauty of this park! Wear sunscreen, good shoes (not flip flops) & take plenty of water. The hikes are easy, but it is very hot & humid. Take a picnic & enjoy time at Boka Pistol, it is like dinner & a show!

Located near the far end of Curacao, the Park's entrance fee (per vehicle) is $11. Yes, somewhat overpriced but all-in-all worth the price of admission. The main stop directly after entering Shete Boka offers an interesting cavern visitors can experience at their own risk. (So says the warning sign). Climbing down onto the lower rocks, we could watch as the... More

Breathtaking, but go on a windy day to have the most drama...:) We were there on a very windy day and the waves crashing on the rocks was absolutely great.

We actually went here twice. The first time it didn't appear to be anything more than flat desolate land covered in rocks, but apparently we went after hours. Signs were posted everywhere not to visit after hours because of the danger of being attacked or vandalized. We returned another day and there is natural bridge to walk over, a water... More
