This beach has several bars and restaurants, chairs and gazebos to rent. It is a perfect place to stay all day, relaxing. Sometimes it can be very crowded, so I would recommend to arrive early and rent a comfortable gazebo fo all day (U$25) and have no worries...

This area is manmade and not really a "beach", but more like an access to the bay. It was crowded and the beach chairs were on top of each other. There are many shops and restaurants to choose from. There is live entertainment here at night. We chose not to eat here and went to the Boathouse instead which is... More

This beach is located in the eastern end of the island. There is a gate guard where you pay to park and enter the beach. We entered by Zanzibar restaurant. The bay has a break wall on either side of the bay reducing the currents entering the site. Much of the beach is elevated above water level with a steel... More

We were drawn here by Zapata Flyboarding. Pay per person in the car to park. Pay per person for the beach chairs. Outdoor showers to wash off the sand and saltwater. Nice beach. Lots of things to see and do with restaruants and shops also accessed from the beach. While in the area, recommend checking out Fort Beekenburg just a... More

If you want to lie in a lounge chair and fry its ok. Not a lot of shade spots even though you pay for the beach chairs. Snorkeling is pretty poor.

Nice beach to relax with chairs, beds and places to eat and drink. There is also a very small playground for kids and dedicated pool. You pay entrance to the beach (parking included) and additionally for beds/chairs. In general, nice place to relax with full service. If you are looking for natural wide beaches with white sand this place is... More

Five of us went to this beach because my husband wanted to try fly boarding and this is where it is located. It is a man-made beach with beach chairs side by side to each other. It was not a busy day since it was cloudy and raining earlier in the morning however I get the impression if all the... More

At the Jan Thiel beach you can of course have a swim in the deep blue sea, but even more so you can go for a dive, a trip on a boat, you name it. Why not beach volley that's also possible, sun bathing, yes of course. Shop at beach? YES why not, SPA also that's possible. It's a beach... More
