Extremely overcrowded. The water access is limited and what access there is you have to watch for children jumping off the sides. First you pay to enter the beach, then you have to pay for a beach chair. That was a surprise as we thought paying to enter the beach allowed us access to the beach chairs! We ordered a... More

Sadly, this is one of the very few beaches on Curacao that offer soft sand that you'd expect in the Caribbean. This isn't even much of a beach. The beach is on a man made "dock". Basically the beach is raised from the water with a couple small entry points where the sand goes into the water or there are... More

Nice but very crowded beach with a nice bar. You only have to pay a few guilders when you enter the beach area. After that parking is free and also the beach beds can be used without additional charges. The personnel at the bar is friendly. We enjoyed.

This was a great place to people watch. A lot of Dutch people. It was super crowded but not miserable. The beach bar had good food. Lots of places to visit around this beach. Good area in general.

This beach is very popular with the nearby residents and Dutch guests staying at one of the many resorts in the area. It now costs 6 guilders per person, when we visited in 2011 and 2012, there was no fee to get in. Chairs, day beds, umbrellas and lounges can be rented. There is even a fee to play at... More

We were taken here after paddle boarding, and because we arrived after 0430pm we didn't have to pay any enterance fee straight from the beach we snorkled along the rock wall there were damsels, puffers, and pigmy Angels. You can rent beach chairs. This area seemed trendy with the beach bars and resteraunts. There was also some people sunbathing topless... More

Jan Thiel was recommended for the snorkeling; however, I must have gone at the wrong time because the water was so cloudy that you could not see much of anything. The beach itself was super crowded, which made it feel more like a spring break beach. I prefer the less populated beaches.

First of all, there are two thing you must know about this beach: 1). The beach is private access only, so you have to be a guest at one of the nearby hotels or pay an entrance fee. 2). It really isn't much of a beach in the traditional sense: the artificial shoreline is more akin to a pier. The... More
