We visited the Riffort Village several times during our 2 week stay on the island. I can't recommend enough the Frozen Mojito at the Riffort bar!! They have a sign on the bar that says Best Frozen Mojito in Curacao and they are not lying!

Riffort is a beautiful attraction in the heart of Curacao. There is ice cream, shops, restaurants (Sushi at Emma Tei), and even a casino at the nearby Renaissance.

Located on the otrobanda side it's a convenient stop during the day to browse around and refresh yourself with a cold beer or an icecream . After five it becomes a happy hour village and once you are done sipping that cocktail the dining possibilities are great!! Tell the bus driver to stop here for sure!!

Right after you depart a cruise ship, like my hubby and I did, you walk through the Riffort Village. It is actually more quaint retail shops, ice cream parlors, outdoor cafe area than old fort. However, go up the old fort stairs to get a great view across the canal of Otrabanda. There are clean bathrooms here so keep that... More

Great place to park for a visit to both the Renaissance Mall and Riffort Village. Excellent views of the harbor and city from the top of the fort. Quaint little shops inside but not as many as the Renaissance in Aruba.

I love the reinvention of the original fort into a useful and fun complex. On the top floor, there are great views, places to stop and ponder, loads of adorable restaurants and clean public restrooms too! I wasn't dining but hope to return to the colorful Indian restaurant (Indi?) on the top floor with outdoor dining overlooking the sea -... More

no charm--just a bunch of chains widely available elsewhere in the world for the most part. $25 for a tube of American sunscreen for a child.

The view from the fort is terrific, and there are many small shops inside the form. Had a lovely late afternoon beer at one of the outdoor cafes. Bill served in an Upman cigar box!
