The museum was nice with the guided tour to add to the already well available text in dutch and english. The habour tour I believe was the highlight to make the whole experience be understood. The maritime environment of Curacao is shaky at best because of economic reason. This habour is one of the best natural habour located in the... More

This place also had one of the nicest waiters, Wolter, that we met on Curacao ( service can be quite slow in general and a bit lacking in social grace) but he more than made up for it. The museum has a Avery interesting story in it's construction and formation.

The museum had quite a few interesting things about Curaçao and it's marine history. Texts are in both Dutch and English. We spend about 1,5 hour in the museum and had a good time as it was nice to read and see everything. There was also information about the museum itself as it is in an historic building.

A small museum packed with historical artifacts, displays, information and model ships. An indepth look at the maritime history of the area including current Dutch Navy exercises and deployments. Well worth the 6.50 USD admission charge. I highly recommend it if you are in Willemstaad.

Small but nice museum on the harbor. Nice displays, easy to follow with a good history of the island. Definitely worth an hour if you like sea history and want to know more about Curacao.

Attractive, informative, nice staff - do the boat tour! Gift shop prices were reasonable and they had some different stuff. There's a restaurant but we didn't try it.

Beef Guy loved it, had to read every plaque. I'm kinda lukewarm on boat stuff. But the maps were cool. Worth an hour visit.

We visited the Maritime Museum as part of exploring Punda. The museum is not just maritime but the history of the island from when it was first discovered by European explorers. All three floors were worth visiting and the displays are informative and in English and Dutch. There is one room in the corner filled with books and photo albums... More

This is a wonderful small museum with lots of history, pictures, maps and artifacts in it. We were pretty thorough and it took us about 90 minutes to walk through. There is also a restaurant on site, although we didn't eat in it.
