My husband and I had a great time here. We did the Animal Encounters and snorkeled with stingrays, different kinds of fishes as well as some sea turtles, nurse sharks and lemon sharks. All of these fishes were huge so they are definitely fed well! We even got to hand feed a lemon shark! Then it was off for the... more

We visited this as a shore excursion on an NCL cruise. The Sea Aquarium is a "Great" place to visit for families with children that want hands on activities. You can touch & feed, sea turtles, flamingoes, rays, & nurse sharks. They have live shows in open air natural penned in areas for dolphins & sea lions. There is a... more

I generally frown on programs such as swimming with dolphins. But on a trip to Curaçao, I couldn't resist the opportunity to do the animal encounters program. The aquarium itself was tired and in need of upgrades, although the livestock were well cared for and very interesting to see. The real attraction for me was the animal encounters program. For... more

It's a fair attempt at an outdoor aquarium. Many of the tanks need revamped, but those that have fish in them are pretty good. It's pretty expensive entrance fee, but if you stay at the nearby Sea Aquarium you get in for free. When you enter, make sure to pick up a schedule of events that are occurring. Throughout the... more

This was a walk from Breezes Curacao so we decided to give it a try. It was okay….our zoo in SC has a better aquarium than it. They even had some holes in the aquarium that were suppose to have tanks and fish in them and it had a sign that said “closed for remodeling” but it looked like it... more

Only problem is it's a little expensive given the size - I live by the National Aquarium so it's hard to equate. However, it's great for kids. They can see the flamingos & turtles really closely and there's no one saying "Stay back". There's an interactive, touching shallow pool for you to touch starfish, sea urchins and other little creatures.... more

We took our 4 and 5 year old grandsons to the sea aquarium. It was excellent. The boys did not want to leave. We spent about 4 hours there. The seal program and the dophin shows were great. The boys enjoyed petting the shark. My husband got to feed the shark. We all had a wonderful time. It is well... more

If you have kids, this place is a "must see" unless they've already experienced SeaWorld or other large similar attractions elsewhere & won't settle for smaller attractions. (There are no rides here.) About 1/4 of the aquariums were empty & the demonstrations/shows are timed too far apart & too infrequently during a day's course, particularly when crowds are down as... more

This place was awesome; a real gem not to be missed. Unlike large, impersonal, "plastic" North American aquariums where it seems their real mission is to sell you souvenirs, this place boasts great charm, beauty and allows visitors to get up close and personal with their magnificent creatures in small groups. We participated in the sea lion snorkel and it... more

Very nice, some of the fish tanks needed upgrading, some were out of service but all in all it was worth the money. The seals were very enjoyable and the aquarium shows interest in protecting the oceans and land animals of Curacao. more
