Owner description: Add this once-in-a-lifetime golf experience to your “must play” list located within the Santa Barbara Planation. Designed by the legendary golf architect Pete Dye, the par 72 Old Quarry Golf Course draws its name from the historic quarries where famed Curaçao marble is mined. If you’re looking for a phenomenal getaway, our golf course is the perfect choice. Pete Dye's championship seaside layout was designed to fit seamlessly into the islands's hills and valleys. A challenge to players of all skill levels, the course meanders between the stunning blue Caribbean Sea, the slopes and hills of the Tafelberg Mountain and the sheltered bay known as Spanish Water. To assure it would be built true to the conservation principles of Santa Barbara's owners, Pete Dye's son P.B.Dye along with the Golf Manager, Jim Bolinger, planted its fairways and greens with the hearty Paspalum grass, which can be irrigated using both brackish and recycled water. A handsome clubhouse and restaurant answer golfers' needs and provide a spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea.

We enjoyed this course. The scenery was beautiful. We played 9 holes in the late afternoon. The course was almost empty.

I am not a golfer, but I did take a class while there. I surprisingly enjoyed it! The teacher was knowledgeable. While I cannot grade the course itself as I don't know enough about golf to truly grade it, from what I saw, it was impressive.

Played 5 rounds on this beautiful course. Great design, in really good shape. Well worth it! Just make sure you have plenty of water as beverage cart did not make too many appearances, one day we only saw it on 17.

I don't golf, but my partner loved it and said it was the nicest golf course he had ever played. It's hot and sunny at 7am, so layer on the sunscreen!

I have played gollf in many locations in the Caribbean. I would say this is a well designed course but with average scenery and average maintenance for an upscale course. The course is well designed and is difficult. It starts by smashing you in the teeth with 2 holes directly into the fierce prevailing wind. There is no bailout area... More

If you ever get the opportunity to play this course, do it! Beautiful, well maintained, great greens and a great challenge. Don't play the blue tees if you aren't near scratch! 6,200 yards in the wind from the white tees is challenge enough. Came across this course on a cruise stop. Loved the resort and golf course so much my... More

Really beautiful course with a few holes right on the water. Lots of wildlife, every hole was different, and service at the shop was great.

Excellent golf course. Great use of terrain and the views of the ocean and bay were fantastic. Very challenging, however, its a Pete Dye design and he tends to make real challenging courses. Would definitely return to this island and golf course.

Great course well maintained. I would have loved to have cart service but they had plenty of water for refills on the course. Beautiful ocean views.
