Description: Add this once-in-a-lifetime golf experience to your “must play” list...
Add this once-in-a-lifetime golf experience to your “must play” list located within the Santa Barbara Planation. Designed by the legendary golf architect Pete Dye, the par 72 Old Quarry Golf Course draws its name from the historic quarries where famed Curaçao marble is mined. If you’re looking for a phenomenal getaway, our golf course is the perfect choice. Pete Dye's championship seaside layout was designed to fit seamlessly into the islands's hills and valleys. A challenge to players of all skill levels, the course meanders between the stunning blue Caribbean Sea, the slopes and hills of the Tafelberg Mountain and the sheltered bay known as Spanish Water. To assure it would be built true to the conservation principles of Santa Barbara's owners, Pete Dye's son P.B.Dye along with the Golf Manager, Jim Bolinger, planted its fairways and greens with the hearty Paspalum grass, which can be irrigated using both brackish and recycled water. A handsome clubhouse and restaurant answer golfers' needs and provide a spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea.

The course has scenic views of the ocean, desert hills and presents some challenges. The first two holes run right along the shoreline offering beautiful vista's of the sea. If you slice, you ball will be swallowed by the ocean. Fortunately the course was no crowded so it was easy to get a tee time and there was no wait.... More

Ok most Caribbean golf courses leave something to the imagination. This course is off the hook. Absolutely fantastic. Beautiful, in great shape, on the Ocean and up the mountain from which the Old Quarry gets its name. The greens are lightning quick. The driving range is the nicest you may ever see. A bit of a clip to get there... More

I did not play this course but my husband did. As an all-inclusive customer of the resort for a week he received a discount. He rented clubs and cart and played 18 holes for a cost of approximately $200 US. Yes it is a bit pricey but the customer service was great and the course is clearly beautiful with holes... More

From the first hole which runs along the ocean, this course has everything. views, wind, and an excellent Pete Dye design. Friendly pro shop staff and management. Electric carts and a refreshment cart that doesn't leave you broke. There is only one small complaint, which seems to be island wide ... XL golf shirts and XL tee shirts e in... More

For the fifth consecutive time we have come back to Curacao to play the Old Quarry Golf Course. What a delight. A Pete Dye Designed course along the shore of the Carribean. Kept in perfect condition and what makes the design great is that with 5 tees to choose from it offers every level of player a wonderful golf experience.... More

I have played a good deal of golf in the Caribbean, such as St. Kitts, the Bahamas, Jamaica and Curacao and this course is the best by far. Fantastic layout, perfect greens and beautiful vistas. My favorite course in the Caribbean!

This 18 hole resort golf course is a challenging track. Beautifully manicured and a pleasure to play. Not much room for error on most holes, as the rough is truly ROUGH. Spiky plants make going after an errant ball a challenge. No turn at 9, as the course meanders all 18 holes away from the clubhouse. A 5 minute drive... More

I was hoping to practice in the driving range, having some lessons, and play a few days at the course but the lady at the Old Quarry was not in a good mode to provide me the assistance I needed to accomplish my plans. The final result. 12 days stay at Santa Barbara resort and did not touch the golf... More
