This is a public beach that the locals apparently go to on weekends. My husband and I went scuba diving with a guide and it was fantastic. We had to swim on surface a couple minutes to get out to the reef but then went down about 15 meters to the reef. We saw many varieties of fish and very... More

I think that this is my favorite of the beaches we visited in Curacao. Very clean, beautiful white sand, lots of thatched huts for shade, serviceable snack bar. Never got too crowded or noisy. Mostly tourists from the Netherlands and Germany with some Americans and locals thrown in. And the water was crystal clear and refreshing.

Lots of shade from trees and poled-tent coverings. No entry fee, but beach chairs are available for rent - $10 each, and you receive a $5 refund if it is returned before 6 p.m. Showers are 25 cents of a NAf (local currency) for about a minute, restrooms for 1 NAf a visit. We went on a weekday - but... More

When we visited this beach, a massive cleanup was in progress. All dead tree parts and coral parts were removed from the beach, resulting in a spotless condition. Bedsare for rent (you pay 10 NAF, but get 5 refunded when you return the bed to the shop. Snorkeling was not that good, as big waves resulted in a lot of... More

If you have time and car and are looking for a beach with local quiet people then this is it. There is a security guard, nice local tent with good yet simple food, enough of palms for a shade and some old roof shelters so to stay in the shade. water is nice, snorkeling is possible yet not very special

The beach is disgusting - full of cig butts and garbage - but the snorkeling is very good. If you get there early, you can get a little hut (no charge) and rent lounge chairs if you want (small charge and you get half back if you return the chair when you are done). Bonus: there is a security guard... More

My family and I visited this beach as part of our dune buggy excursion (with Prins ATV rental). It was a very nice beach for snorkeling, water was clean and clear and there were plentiful coral reef and school of fish. We were able to see many different specie of fish!

I visited this beach for years. Nice free beach but the catering snack is rude and screwy. The beach chairs they rent have a 5 guilders (USD 3) deposit; you pay 10 guilders for a day rental when you take the chair (carry them yourself), and you get 5 guilders back if you return the chair at the rental. Sunday... More

We sum led into this quaint area. Has huts, chairs for rent, food and bathrooms. Great secluded cove with snorkeling. This is the choice of discerning locals to have family get togethers and not so crowded. Highly recommended.

Excellent (free) beach. Quiet, less tourists. Just a perfect spot for relaxing, bbq and swimming. Small catering, rentals of beds and some palapa's for some shade!
