What an amazing day! We rented at car at the port and drove about 30 minutes to Playa Port Marie. Roads are very well marked-easy to find. We had a group of 8-4 adults, 4 kids. 2 adults went diving. Excellent diving! The rest of the group lounged on the beach. We ate lunch here-reasonably priced for an island. Yummy... More

Gorgeous sandy beach for Curacao. Beautiful turquoise waters with very calm waves. Very appropriate for small children. There is a snorkeling trail, which was fun to swim along; however, there is not much coral. They are working to restore the coral. Snorkeling was the best near the rock peninsula in the middle of the beach. A good variety of fish.

After a few days at the hotel we decided to go to another beach . This on sounded good . The beach is typical of the island . Beautiful white sand and azure water . The slope is gradual so there is plenty of room to swim . Snorkeling and scuba not far from shore . Both had many participants... More

This is one of the nicer beaches we went to when we visited in early October. The snorkeling there was great, with plenty of artificial reefs to look at. It isn't a public beach, so everything comes with a price. Entrance costs money, beach chairs cost money, etc. Overall I think it was around $12 for my wife and I... More

Porto Marie is an beach with all amenities, snack bar, chairs, umbrella etc. but very large and crowded. compared with the other smaller bay beaches it cannot compete with the charme they have... we prefered next bay Daaiboi beach

Playa Porto Marie is a wonderfull relaxing beach. Good set up with Bar, clean toilet facilities and a dive shop / rental place. The beach offers easy water access and the artificial reefs allow everyone to try snorkeling. Other than the odd plane above all is quiet. Fees are reasonable for what is provided.

Obviously when you have WiFi, a Restaurant, a great set up of beach chairs and umbrellas, you will definitely be consider one of the best beaches, but what really got me with this one is that it is one of the sandiest beaches in all the ones we visited. It is still rocky once you enter the water, but not... More

We decided to visit one of the more remote beaches on the island and chose this one based on the excellent reviews and the fact it's closer to Willemstad than some of the other west side beaches. It did not disappoint! Entrance fee and chair rental was about $7 each and the scenery was magnificent! It is a little out... More

Visiting Porto Marie is a must for visiting divers and snorkelers. Clean beach, good restaurant, diveschool and good facilities makes this beach one of my favourite places to visit on Curacao. Diving is very good. Visibility is great and with it,s double-reef sytem it is double the pleasure. Porto Marie can be reached by car. The only point of attention... More
