On a very recent trip to Curacao my husband and I spent an afternoon at Playa Porto Marie. We had heard from fellow guests at our townhome complex that it was lovely, and we were trying to snorkel at a number of different beaches. It is an extremely bumpy ride in from the main road on a dreadful road, but... More

Our beach hopping tour stopped by this beach and it was absolutely our favorite on the island. It is beautiful! My husband said it was the best snorkeling. I wish we could've spent more time here. It was perfect :)

Went to this beach during carnival so it was crowded. We still got a shady spot, had a nice lunch. I also dove with the divers at the beach and it was easy and uncomplicated.

this was our favorite beach during our 2-week-vacation on curacao, there is a lovely bar & restaurant at the entrance, good snorkeling and a beautiful place to relax.

We loved this beach...prefect place to spend the day...the margaritas are wonderful!! We highly recommend this place. It looks rough as you drive in...but the facilities and amenities are nice!

This breach was freaking hot, so come early and snag an umbrella. The fee was $3 offer person and $2 peer chair, and totally worth it. There is a pretty nice restaurant so getting food and water isn't an issue. There are also snorkel and scuba gear rental along with tours.

We went diving there. Beaches were clean, and there is a restroom, and bar/restaurant. In addition you can rent tanks. We did 2 dives both were cool, ther are two reefs parallel to each other. The second reef is a wall. Both were cool to dive saw trumpet fish, squid, lion fish, and lots of vivid colored sponges and coral.... More

the beach is nice, there are loungers to rent, the food is fine. unfortunately there are 2 major things i would like to point out: the cleanliness of the sand is poor, you find drinking straws, cigarette buds and bottle caps... why don't they clean up in the evening? there's a footbridge you can use, so you don't have to... We came here on a stop while on a cruise ship. It was about a 30 min drive from the cruise port and cost 20 per person round trip. It was worth it. The beach wasn't too crowded but still had about 70 people at it. The water is crystal clear and family friendly. We travelled with 4 boys ages... More

This beach has all the amenities including restaurant/bar, showers, toilets, chairs for rent, and shade. The snorkeling is good but not as good as Cas Abao. This is a very crowded beach as it is fairly large compared to say Cas Abao. I would rate this beach behind Cas Abao but only because of the better snorkeling at Cas Abao... More
