The beach and facilities here are really nice but if you are looking for good shore snorkeling it's just okay we found the tugboat to be the best on the island. There are fish to be seen around the artificial reef balls at Porto Marie but no real coral withing swimming distance to view. If diving you can probably reach... More

There is a snorkel trail here. You can snorkel a bit. Nothing compared to snorkling in Bonaire but you will see a few fishes. A bit crowded.

This is a beautifully maintained beach with a very fun beach restaurant and dive shop on location. It cost money to enter as well as to rent beach chairs. Snorkeling is just ok at this beach.

Beautiful beach with sand and coral but lots of rocks on the water so take aqua shoes as it would be quite painful to get in the sea without them. The sea was a little bit rough when we were there and we had to swim out a bit to get excellent clarity - but it was very clear with... More

We decided to do a shore dive since the waters were a little choppy. We dove here about 6 years ago and decided to return since it is very easy to shore dive at Porto Marie. There's a helpful dive shop on site. $9 for tanks. The reef is beautiful. It's a valley so you really can't get lost. Our... More

Great beach and perfect place to snorkel, especially if you are a beginner. The bar had good food and drinks available which made us stay even longer than first planning;friendly staff too.

We rented a car and spent the whole day at Playa Porto Marie. Most of us spent day lounging on the beach, and one in our group went diving. He said it was a good place to dive and was able to rent a tank (had all the other gear) from the Dive Shop on site for about 9 US... More

We spent the whole day at this beach with our children. There was plenty for us to explore on land and in the ocean. This beach is one of the most beautiful, serene places.

Although it was challenging to use the maps available to find the beach (Drive thru Willibordus follow signs near the church) , once there we were not disappointed. There is a small charge per person to use the beach. The dive shop has air tanks and a great set up for taking off/on equipment as well as rinse tanks and a... More

We loved this beach! It's big with a lot of great snorkeling and crystal clear turquoise and deep blue waters. We went July 4th week and only about 30% of the lounge chairs were occupied, making it a wonderful, relaxing experience. We had lunch at the bar/restaurant, which was good for bar/beach food. You won't be disappointed with your decision... More
