This was one of our two favorite beaches to play in the water. It is tricky getting into the water with all the coral-gets in your flippers! It's fun to watch the fishermen come in around noon and sell fish right off their boats to visitors. There is also a very good restaurant by Lagun with a rooster that steals... More

Fabulous snorkelling, good coffee up the stairs above the beach, fresh caught tuna brought in by the fishermen every day around noon. Very nice atmosphere. Cliffs either side of the cove which means it's protected even when windy so no big waves. Easy entry on the right side. Snorkel right out along the right side - wonderful. Also good dive... More

We just happened across this beach on our exploration of the island. What a great find!! The beach and water were stunning and we spent time just floating and enjoying the view! The banana smoothies at the restaurant were great too!

We stopped here to get a change in pace. The beach is beautiful but we were there on new years day so it was crowded with locals. There were no chairs available to use, they were all chained up. Alot of the locals were BBQing, etc. The one thing about Curacao is that the locals are not very friendly. They... More

Absolutely beautiful! Perfect beach if you like something a little more tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the mainstream resort beaches. So picturesque. I will say the beach itself is a little rocky right at the shore but go about 10 ft in and you get to a sandy bottom again. Went on a Thursday and there were... More

We had a rental car and covered alot of beaches and area on Curacao. We returned to Lagun threet times for the snorkeling! Snorkeling along the right-hand side, along the rocks/cliff is the best! Once you get out towards the end of the lagun it gets deep, but crystal clear, tons of fish, and just awesome! We loved it. One... More

Some of the hotel staff raved about getting out to the Western part of the island. It was truly spectacular! Like taking a dip in the biggest saltwater aquarium you have ever seen. I highly recommend getting yourself a rental car and spending a few hours. We missed the sea horses and turtles but the rest did not disappoint. Go... More

First...it's free. Pay a few bucks for chair rentals but that's pretty standard nowadays. Small narrow beach with cliffs 40 feet high on both sides for 300 feet. Really cool. Good easy snorkeling in calm water. The water.....beautiful. The sandy beach is a little cramped and a little rough looking. Not really trash but just ocean type stones, small coral... More

We stopped by playa Lagun after we spent the morning at kenepa beach. We grabbed a quick bite ( quick as in Curacao quick ;) ) and headed down to snorkel. We were advised the best time to snorkel for the turtles was in later afternoon ( after 4) - we didn't see any but we were there closer to... More
