You definitely want to tour Curacao beaches when you're there. They're all very busy during week-ends but if you manage to go during the week, it's heaven on earth :))

Though it is a bit of a drive to get here, it's a very nice quiet beach. It's protected by cliff's on either side so it makes for a good place for snorkeling. Beach chair rental is $5.00 and they give you tickets to get free apple or orange juice from the restaurant up top.

Great beach for snorkeling! Beach is rocky, not ideal if you want to just lounge in water. However, snorkeling is fabulous! There is an entire school of squid that reside there. We also saw French Angels, schools of Atlantic tangs, box fish, tile fish and more. Stay to the left for the best snorkeling. Chair rental is a few bucks.... More

This is a very pretty beach on the southwest side of the island (like most of the beaches in Curacao). It is free to use the beach; however, you must pay to use a beach chair. The purchase of a beach chair comes with a free glass of juice (orange or apple) from the juice bar at the top of... More

One of Curacao's many small coves. Not very large beach and steep sides to the cove. Very good for snorkling though, but not great. Bring your own food & drink as no other options.

This beach is very small but a good snorkel spot. We saw a lot of different fish, squid, octopus and crab. Stop for a snack at the Bahia grill to look and pet the friendly Iguanas.

Playa Lagun is a beautiful small lagoon. Surrounded by 30' rock walls with iguana lifeguards, the cove is generally very calm with no current at all. After you get out 20-30m, the water is crustal clear with abundant life including lrge schools of fish, squids, and daily afternoon visits by turtles. You can't ask for a better snorkeling location, we... More

So there is no fee to go to this beach which is a definite plus (although like all the other beaches there is a fee for the chairs). Because the beach is a cove it is an ideal spot for beginner snorkels as there are essential no waves. Additionally, it is a lot less crowded and I would imagine it... More

We wanted to snorkel and not do it at the same beach every other tourist visits. We were told to go to Playa Laguna and it was a great experience. A cove about 200yds deep and 100yds wide; surrounded by 60 foot cliffs. Great snorkeling environment, with dozens of different species. Two snorkeling kit rental stores, plus scuba gear if... More

We went here to snorkel and everything I had read about it was true. We saw tons of fish in very good variety, including three different kinds of eels. We saw about fifty species total, including things like scrawled filefish, spotted drum and redlip blenny. I had read that the currents here are generally low since the bay is protected,... More
