On a recent trip to Curacao, my husband and I snorkelled 3 or 4 times at Playa Lagun. As with many of the beaches at this end of the island, it is small and in a cove, but the snorkelling here was quite enjoyable, with lots to see. We found swimming along the cliffs on the left side of the... More

This is a very short beach inside a cove with 30 foot cliffs and crystal blue water. The 3 foot iguanas are very interesting to see but a bit disconcerting as they scamper right next to you. We bought fresh tuna off of the fisherman boats as they came in around noon. 14 Guilders ($8) for one kilo of absolutely... More

Snorkeling does not get easier than this. This was our first time snorkeling and it was very easy, safe, and rewarding. Its is small beach but clear calm waters and lots of beautiful fish!!

One of my favorite locations for snorkeling in Curacao. We have been there multiple times, and each time is unique, but consistantly good. Large diversity and volume of fish, and we have regularly seen BIG schools of fish and the biggest schools of squid we've seen anywhere. Coral is OK at best. Very easy access from the free, safe parking,... More

One of the best spots to snorkel on the island!! Saw our very first lion fish here...probably should have reported, but, didn't. Restaurant on the cliff is very good...neat iguana feeding there too!!

Excellent in every way, and convenient to Bahia Apartments. Try the base of the cliffs on both south and north. Massages on the beach, nice restaurants nearby.

Went on a Sunday, we got there early to stake out an area with shade. This is a must at most snorkeling beachs on weekends. Chase lounges are $5 US each for the whole day. The beach has no entry fee. Sand was fairly clean, and like most beachs here it has lots of broken coral. Snorkling is fair to... More

This is not the sandy beach you dream of but it is nice. There is fishermen selling their catch in the morning so you can get your nice filet for dinner. Did some snorkelling but didn't see much... we found much better snorkelling at Kenepa or other close by beaches.

If you snorkel a bit, this is not going to 'wow' you. Very little live coral though there are a decent amount of fish. The beach is small and was crowded when we were there and it was a weekday. If you like fewer people try Playa Forti which is just a few km away. Though Playa Forti doesn't look... More

We stayed at Lagoon Ocean Resort at the top of Playa Lagun. Very good snorkeling just a few feet from our apartment. How convenient. We snorkeled each day after our excursions. Saw tons of fish, squid, urchins, brain coral, sea cucumber, ect. Easy to get to, easy to navigate and lots to see each and every time. Three resorts are... More
