We didn't come for hanging out at the beach so can't comment on that. But for snorkeling, we went to 4 places along Westpunt and this is our 2nd best. Many fishes and calm water as it's in a protected bay. Top spot is in an area where we stayed in a vacation rental in a private community near Cas... More

We came to Curacao for snorkeling. This was one of the two best sites we visited (the other was Groote Knip). Follow the advice of others: hang to the right along the wall and go out at least to the point. In addition to lots of fish, we saw an alligator-patterned black and white eel. There's not a lot of... A little crowded during week, it's almost too crowded during the week-end. The best snorkelling was on the right side.

The beach is small but very nice. Some of the best snorkeling on Curacao that we found. Reefs are on both sides of the Lagoon.

Small beach, beach chairs for rent or pull up a towel for free. Free parking, facilities, and choice of two restaurants for snacks. Great snorkeling, calm seas. Spent a couple of great hours here! Watch for the chickens roaming the property.

Curacao is a beautiful Island in the Dutch Caribbean. It's next door to Venezuela and Aruba. Myself, my husband and a friend stayed there for about 5 days in January 2015. Curacao is only about 16 miles long by about 6 miles wide. I would suggest renting a car which is fairly cheap for the day (somewhere around $30-$40 a... More

We went on a windy week day and this beach was the perfect choice. Not over crowded, and great protection from the wind. The snorkeling was one of the best places we had on the island. We had a great lunch at the restaurant in the parking lot. The water is so blue and beautiful… It was like a postcard.... More

Buses run about every 2 hours from Otrobonda bus station (cost 220 florins) and take a little under an hour. Return buses arrive 1 hour after it leaves Otrobonda (I took the 4 PM). Tell bus driver where you want to get off. Beach is only a one block walk once you get off. Beach is nice with picnic tables,... More

Playa Lagun is free and parking nearby is free, but if you want to lounge in a beach chair, you'll need to rent it or bring your own. Shade is hard to find, but there are two cafes nearby that offer respite. The snorkeling is as good as other reviewers have described, but like other Curacao beaches, the passage from... More
