Some of the hotel staff raved about getting out to the Western part of the island. It was truly spectacular! Like taking a dip in the biggest saltwater aquarium you have ever seen. I highly recommend getting yourself a rental car and spending a few hours. We missed the sea horses and turtles but the rest did not disappoint. Go... More

First...it's free. Pay a few bucks for chair rentals but that's pretty standard nowadays. Small narrow beach with cliffs 40 feet high on both sides for 300 feet. Really cool. Good easy snorkeling in calm water. The water.....beautiful. The sandy beach is a little cramped and a little rough looking. Not really trash but just ocean type stones, small coral... More

We stopped by playa Lagun after we spent the morning at kenepa beach. We grabbed a quick bite ( quick as in Curacao quick ;) ) and headed down to snorkel. We were advised the best time to snorkel for the turtles was in later afternoon ( after 4) - we didn't see any but we were there closer to... More

Nice beach, you could rent some beach chairs for 7.50 ANG, even got a drink for that at one of the restaurants. Could for swimming and snorkelling, I would not reccommend it for diving There is a dive shop where I rented a tank, but you have to swin quite far for the coral and the cliffs are very high,... We heard about this beach from en employee at our hotel in Willemstad, and found a quit clean beach and lots of corals and fish in the bay. We didn't see any turtles although there are said to be turtles at lagoon, but lots of other interesting animals. There are beach beds for hire (5$) and a cafee on the... More

Nice place to go shore diving. There is a dive shop in the parking lot of the beach. They have lockers, you can safely leave your car parked in front of the dive shop, use lockers to lockup your valuables, rent some tanks and go diving. The dive involved a rather long swim out out to the reef 7-10 minutes... More

We go to Lagun every year. The beach is small, maybe 70 yards long, but quite beautiful. The water is crystal blue which is great for snorkeling. They cleared a lot of the rocks away so it is very easy to enter the water. They improved the trash problem so the beach is very clean. It is fun to watch... More

We are not very experienced snorklers, but this spot was one of our best experience ever. I have never seen so many species. The place was quiet on a week day in February. And you MUST try the restaurant at top of the cliff. Second best meal in our life. Seafood and salads were fresh and delicious. Can't wait to... More
