Excellent for spending the whole day! The beach an amazing light blue color and some very interesting reefs for snorkeling some 30 ft off the shore. You can hire gear and eat something at the bar-restaurant. Excellent "bitterballen" and chicken with peanut sauce. Entrance is 7 USD per car. Totally worth it!

A small piece of paradise. Although it has to be paid, it is quite cheap and offers a lot of facilities, as a parking lot, fresh water shower, restrooms, a snack bar, chairs at the beach and something more. I do recommend.

By far the best beach we ever experienced! The beach is the picture perfect example of a white sand beach with blue water. If you have a rental car it is worth the drive and if you are early there are plenty of shade places. Must visit! Note: there is currently no shop to buy beach/snorkeling accessories, there is a... We are a family of 5 (husband, wife, 6 year old twins and grandma). We were cruising on the Carnival Freedom and were docked in Curaco for the day. We are frequent cruisers and always book our own excursions to save money and have a better experience (less crowded then cruise line excursions). When doing research on Trip Advisor, I... More

Undecided on which beach to go to we left our cruise ship with no plan as to where to go. We met a couple waiting for a taxi and they said through research they had decided to go to Cas Abou to snorkel. We were after a snorkel beach so we decided to share the taxi fare. we got to... More

Love this beach. About 1/2 mile of white sand with a few quaint thatched roof spots for shade, and a few trees for protection from the sun. Crystal blue water. Great island-y escape for relaxing and reading a great novel with an occasional dip in the comfortable waters.

beach is really fantastic, very good for swimming and has nice atmosphere. Facilities, restrooms available. Excellent crab salat wraps. You have to pay for the entry but it is definitely worth it. The only defect is the access to the beach, road is extremly bumpy, with deep holes, you have to drive very slowly to avoid the car damage. This... More

This beach was quite beautiful and larger than other beaches that we visited in curacao. Snorkeling was OK, not as good as in playa Lagun. My only complaint is that my water shoes got an awful smell after swimming/snorkeling here. I am not sure if there was contamination in the water, but this did not happen in other beaches. There... This is a beach in the Western part of the island, better known as "Banda Bou". It costs about 10 Guilders to get in and about $3 per beach chair. There is a small concession stand serving cold drinks and coffee/tea. Maybe even some warm dishes and sandwiches. There are also shower areas to wash off the salt and sand.... More

Get there early for a seat. Very clean, relaxing, and gorgeous scenery. Road in is a little bumpy, but worth the trek.
