You'll need a pretty bumpy boat trip over to this little offshoot from Curacao proper. Not for those who are likely to get seasick. No dock, so you need to swim ashore. Take water-tolerant beach shoes. What's to see: lighthouse, wreck, rough shore and wave action. Pretty remove and desolate. No fee to come ashore, but the boat trip will... More

Unspoilt however, increase in buildings over the last two years without taking the old wooden dilapidated huts down leaves an unsightly mess that all seems uncontrolled. Busy on a Sunday with all day charters but best during the week when it's quieter. Early morning before the arrivals and after they have left is when Klein Curacao comes into it's own... More

Snorkeling is not good all the corals are dead. Superb beach, the staff with the mermaid are just very attentive and great. Food was excellent, so well prepared and so tasty. Huge amount of food and water and drinks available. Plus you have the hut and bathroom that comes with the mermaid. As for the catamaran you eat and go... More

We took a catamaran to the island. It was a day trip. The island does not have much on it. There is a bar and lookout tower that is only for a particular tour company (which was not the one we went with). We had use of a few palapas which was more than suitable to get out of the... More

The snorkelling is great!! The island is hot and very barren with an abandoned lighthouse and a couple of ship wrecks. I loved both snorkelling and hiking with my photo gear to photograph the lighthouse and ship wreck. I got some shots of the lighthouse that made the hot hike well worth it! When you hike back there is a... More

Took the trip with the mermaid to little curaçao. Wow, you started to whish there were no people on this island with you. But the crew was great. Tended to your every need slapped on some great meat on the grill, plenty drinks. Great scenery. The bonus for me was that the great writer Boudewijn Buch visited this island as... More

The most beautiful place we visited during our stay. The boat trip was a little long and choppy on the way there, but well worth it once we arrived and were able to snorkel with sea turtles! Wear tons of sunscreen though - we got pretty crispy.

We took this trip because it was highly rated and even locals told us it was worth seeing. If you choose to go to Klein Curacao try and book it towards the end of your trip but not the day before your last because all you do is relax and it's an amazing way to end your trip (plus it’s... More

It's a rough boat ride there, but the place is amazing to see. The water is incredibly clear and if you're lucky you'll even find yourself swimming next to a turtle or two. Don't expect any shops/restaurants, though. It's a tiny island off the coast of Curaçao, there's basically nothing there. Go for the adventure!

I booked with Marmeid agency, and they are prepare to receive... More
