The most beautiful beach and wonderful place to snorkel. We took a catamaran ride about 2 hours from curacao to the mini island of Klein, Make sure to eat a good breakfast at the hotel and then they provide a small breakfast of sandwiches once on the boat. Make sure you dose up and reapply sunscreen all day long as... More

We went on the Catamaran Trip via Ocean Encounters. The excursion started as a pick up from your hotel at 7am and you were returned by 5pm, so it's a long day. It included a very light breakfast of coffee and prepared plain buns with lunch meat on it. The trip was about $100/person; it also included a hot lunch,... More

The beautiful white sand beach, snorkeling and typical Cribeean beach day is worth the boat trip. not a trip if you get sea sick, and bring hoes and sunscreen as there is not alot of shade. SunscreEn, shoes a bathsuit and a camera are all you will need to have a fabulous day.

What a super day The Mermaid - is not the prettiest boat to travel on, but it has lots of shade, really helpful staff, toilets not in the bowls of the ship so you dont get seasick going to the loo, super breakfast and BBQ lunch, and once on the island they have the best facilities, again lots of shade... Amazing beach with sea turtles for your snorkeling pleasure (although not much other sea life). The two shipwrecks are fun to see, as is the lighthouse. We took the catamaran with Bounty Adventures to get there. Only a few others on the island while we were there.

One day visit to this tropic paradise is a 'must do' when you are in Curacao, we joined a one day trip with the boat 'The Mermaid' with a friendly and professional staff, great barbeque for lunch and a lot of snorkeling

Took Mermaid Boat Trips with my seven year old son. Had a blast. I am glad my son and I took motion sickness medication both the night before and the morning of. We did not experience any sea sickness and normally we get sea sick. The Mermaid Boat staff were great. The beach is great. It was annoying at times... More

After being told that the trip was challenging for those who suffer motion sickness and that Mermaid Tours’ boat was the easiest to deal with it, we went for it. The ride out was indeed very choppy, but thankfully the constant breeze and Dramamine helped. Keep a look out for flying fish, they make the 2 hour boat ride a... More

I was really looking forward to this trip. I felt so let down. Sounds like paradise, right! An uninhabited island. This island was extremely windy the entire day. It may be uninhabited, but you are going on a boat with lots of other people and sometimes there are other companies with their big boats so the beach can get quite... More

We actually did some diving on Klein, after our dives we had an opportunity to explore the island. The island is uninhabited, there are some huts by the beach, we were told they were private property and not to go near them. The calm part of the island has crystal clear water, excellent for snorkeling and great for pictures. During... More
