Tour was very informative. Unique bird...very entertaining. Love the interaction between the guide and tourists. Standing on the Eggs to demonstrate how strong they are and being able to feed them are for sure the highlight. FYI- riding an ostrich is a separate thing and is an extra costs as opposed to the $16 fee to enter. We hear it... More

I have been to ostrich farms in California and wasn't that impressed. I REALLY did not want to go on this tour but was talked into it. I am glad that I did. The tour takes place in an old military truck so don't wear good clothing for this one. I also have long legs so it was a bit... More

I took this tour while on a cruise to the ABC Islands. The guide, Alexander, told us lots of facts about the ostriches and was entertaining at the same time. He said that because the ostriches see humans as soon as they hatch, they think humans are also ostriches. Because of that link, he was able to entice a male... More

We visited this place a few weeks ago and I was a little suspect ... but my friends wanted to go. The place was really great. The food was outstanding, the tour was fun and I'd highly recommend it to visitors to the island.

Took the tour and lunch. Good information about the animals and operation. Detailed on the operation of the farm. Asked about the missing feathers and good explanation from the guide. Explained the months they have eggs, the way collected and how they extend the season. Photo op while feeding the birds, standing on an egg and other times well organized.... More

This was definitely and interesting and informative tour. Also a lot to learn about the birds and their breeding. The birds can't fly anyway, so wing clipping is not necessary, but I did see some birds that had lost their plumage in part - stress maybe/ Sad if this is the case. The onsite restaurant Zambesi has a good selection... More

The tour and tour guide were really good. Got to see lots of ostriches, got to get a picture feeding an ostrich, learned about them, and was a pleasant visit.

I didn't like this place. They had clipped the wings of the beautifull parrots and parakeets they had there, which meant the birds couldn't fly. The birds are not tame, they just can't fly away because of the mistreating. The parrots that could still fly were in cages not being able to. I don't know why any one would do... More

My wife and I visited here on our honeymoon. We enjoyed the tour greatly! The ostrich farm was quite interesting. The tour was fantastic and very entertaining. The restaurant was quite good, I recommend the ostrich wrap. The portions are small however. We didn't know that ostrich rides are offered, or we would have dressed for it.
