Had a decent little snorkel (calm water, easy entry, good depth), but the vibe is "don't stay unless you are a guest at the Lodge." Beach is small and nothing special. Have a quick snorkel here and the head down the coast to Play Lagun for the rest of the day.... More

The beach is quite small and bottom of sea is (what snorkelers can see) is "dead". There is nice restaurant but food is totally over priced comparing to quality.Same price range repeats at beach side where beach chairs are expensive and beach is "covered" from east side by higher ground, so no wind, you feel like you are in the... Nice, sandy beach but very shallow - goes right into coral rubble. A few coral heads close to shore, but not much fish life. Got stung with fire coral!! More

We've been to Curacao three times and this was the first time at Playa Kalki. The only disappointment was that the beach chairs are reserved for Kura Hulanda guests, but offering to pay got us one chair. They have a fully equipped dive shop and I did a fun dive on the house reef. Very enjoyable. A great surprise was... More

We stopped by Kalki in our tour of places to snorkel in Curacao. The steps from the parking lot sounded, from our internet reading a lot more intimidating than they were. They are well developed cement stairs with a handrail that lead down to a small cafe and then followed by a few more steps down to the beach. Largely... More

Easy snorkeling, calm waters, good visibility, lots of coral and plenty of FISH. The beach is CLEAN and FULL OF CORALS so young kids may not like it. $6/beach chair and you MUST try their Mango Smoothie. It's a 35-45 minute drive from Willemtad. More

This year, Playa Kalki seemed to be quite beat up. The Kura Hulanda lodge has direct access to the beach here, and for some reason, the beach was really a mess. The restaurant there is very good. If you like calamari, this is some of the best you will get anywhere! The reason I marked this as average is that... More

We visited Playa Kalki during our cruise. It was a nice drive through the countryside 40-45 minutes from Willemstad to Playa Kalki. I am not sure if a map will help too much as the roads do not seem to be labeled. The signage is quite good though. You can park for free but there is no shade available for... More

We stay at an oceanfront apartment nearby, but often make the short drive to Playa Kalki for a different snorkel experience and lunch either at the beachside grill or the more upscale restaurant at Lodge Kura Holanda. Snorkeling is excellent just to the left of the dive boat dock, and on calm days it is outstanding to the right of... More

Way up at the top of the island, and I'm not sure what type of facilities they have, and there was lots of coral from a recent storm, BUT... the water was beautiful and the beach almost deserted. Incredible sunset. It just felt like our own discovery, a diamond in the rough. More
