This is what you come to Curacao for. Turquoise waters and white sand. Limited amenities (ie: chair rental and small food area) - but if you just want a simply beautiful, natural beach - this is it.

When you drive up you are in a aaah. So blue is this water. And the beautiful white beach invites you to come and enjoy. Snorkeling is great in this clear sea. Only thing is. You can't reach this beach without a car. It's a 2 mile walk from the main road where the local bus stops. For lunch there... More

I went on a snorkel trip by boat with one of the diving companies (Go west - Westpunt), and the snorkelling in front of this beach was great!

A shame that the weather was cloudy, and the area was completely dried up - for pictures that is. The beach remains a beauty with crystal clear waters. I did not have a chance to bathe here, we had only stopped for pictures.

On a recent trip to the Westpunt area of Curacao, my husband and I stopped for a look at Knip Bay, Playa Kenepa Grandi (found some of the signage confusing and were often not entirely sure what beach we were at!). At any rate, we are avid snorkelers, and had read in some literature at our townhome that this was... More

You need a car to get here, or an expensive taxi ride both ways. Well worth a visit, even on a Yellow Adventures Day Tour. Wild beauty on this west end of the island, a small perfectly yellow sanded beach in a delightful cove. Green cover all round in March with the rains, with cactuses, lizards, birds, butterflies and stunning... More

Nice little beach. Free to get into but need to pay for use of bathroom. Limited chairs ... charge for chairs (but this was usual for any of the beaches we went to.) Best to bring your own food and drinks. We went during the week and early in the day, not much available to eat and drink. Lovely beach... More

We stayed at the Lodge at Kura Hulanda and this was by far our our favorite beach on the island. Beach was relatively calm and it was never over-crowded. Parking is easy and you may run into the local that will let you pet, and take a picture with his pet iguana.
