This mall was just like any other mall you would see in canada. It has a variety of small shops inside. It has a grocery store, pharmacy, shoe store and a bank.It also has a few clothing stores. Some of these stores are pricey. You also can have a bite to eat at the pizza place. They have bathrooms located inside the mall. You still have to bring... The double decker bus stops at this location many small local shops selling souveniers and small items very basic. And if your in the mood for a beer thats also available. There isnt a whole lot that appealed to us as they can be bought cheaper in Varadero. The place is government run so i think more expensive.

Varadero is a lovely resort but not a lot to do outside the mostly All Inclusive hotels, so with this in mind its always nice to check out the surrounding area. We were told about Plaza America but, some people didn't rate it to visit. we took the open top bus ( you can ride it all day for £4)... More

My wife and I decided to hit the Plaza America just to see what was there since we had never gone previously. It had retail type stores and sold more supplies than much else. There was a watch shop, shoes, tee shirt and bathing suit shop, a pharmacy, and a "crap my batteries died, I accidentally swallowed my spare memory... More

It's not a huge mall but there is shopping that can be done and you can eat there. I would rather go downtown and shop at the many shops there. I felt that the prices were better downtown as well.

While in Varadero we took an open air bus ride ( make sure you do this you won't regret) and this was one of the stops. It has the banco ( bank) a pharmacy, and some major stores with good designer outfits. It is open air, steps from the water, as it is located in the middle of a resort,... More

Some decent stores, but it's just a small mall. A little disappointing, but if shopping is your thing you might find some things you like. Not for me though.

Spent a very enjoyable evening a few weeks ago here . Drinks prices very reasonable too. Brilliant music , even if at first you feel you don't like Jazz music . A must for Varadero .

Small shopping centre. Enjoyed a visit here twice. Cigar store was nice and prices were competative. Grocery store was interesting we knew it had what we wanted - previous experience. Clothing stores a bit pricey 25 CUC (almost $29 Cdn) for a T-shirt.
