I'm sorry but I go there just to have fun... I'm sure everybody now, thanks to Tripadvisor and such websites, knows about scamming that goes on there at the cashier's. We were there Friday, Oct. 31 just to look around and purchase some items. My calculated total came up to 14.60 CUC. I made sure I bought items that had... More

If you want to do mini walks on little shops. This can be a 1 hr stop. They have minute shops and a restaurant with live music. Nothing else. Beach is accessible but beaches in your own hotel is better. Not a preferred stop.

They showed the world cup on a big screen and you could buy beer from the supermarket or a little stool with... More

The Center was quite neat, but overall way too loud and not at all appealing for our type of travel. There were lines for everything, and not really any appeal to go to any specific store. The show going on in the middle was loud enough to make talking difficult

This mall was just like any other mall you would see in canada. It has a variety of small shops inside. It has a grocery store, pharmacy, shoe store and a bank.It also has a few clothing stores. Some of these stores are pricey. You also can have a bite to eat at the pizza place. They have bathrooms located inside the mall. You still have to bring... The double decker bus stops at this location many small local shops selling souveniers and small items very basic. And if your in the mood for a beer thats also available. There isnt a whole lot that appealed to us as they can be bought cheaper in Varadero. The place is government run so i think more expensive.

We were told about Plaza America but, some people didn't rate it to visit. we took the open top bus ( you can ride it all day for £4)... More

My wife and I decided to hit the Plaza America just to see what was there since we had never gone previously. It had retail type stores and sold more supplies than much else. There was a watch shop, shoes, tee shirt and bathing suit shop, a pharmacy, and a "crap my batteries died, I accidentally swallowed my spare memory... More
