The course is set on a beautiful piece of property that borders the Ocean. There are two holes with Ocean views. The most spectacular by far is # 18. The fact that we played golf in Cuba was fun for me. I've played at some pretty cool places but I never thought I'd play in Cuba. Beyond that it was... More

The golf here is decent, and affordable. It is the only course in Varadero, so there are no other options. If you want to golf here this is it, some resorts have unlimited green fees, and there are no caddies required here.

I've played this course at least 80 times and I still enjoy playing it . There was a European tour event on this golf course years ago and you have four sets of tees to choose from , so it good for all level of golfers. I'm looking forward to play it again in December of 2016 or if I... More

Nice course. Back nine is a little more challenging. Played 3 rounds over the course of a week. Interesting meeting other players from around the world. 9&18 have some nice views along the water. They need to keep the tourists of the course. Each day there was people wandering around.

We thoroughly enjoyed this golf course. The grounds were very well kept and beautiful landscaped. My husband is a great golfer and I am a newer golfer. The course had a variety of Par 5, 4 and 3 holes. There were challenging holes which had various elevations and sand traps and water hazards. Picturesque views and landscaping. We had our... More

We went to the Varadeo Golf Club to play our "free" round of golf included with our resort stay. Although the round of golf was free, the club rentals cost so much that we essentially paid for the round of golf through the club rentals. We rented two pairs of mediocre clubs for about $200 CAD. As a point of... More

I found to be this golf course very well maintained picturesque views and is very challenging with different elevations and water hazards. I bring my own clubs but I noticed that they have decent rentals the carts are a little outdated but work well. The bathrooms are horrible so I advise anyone golfing on that course is to BYOB toilet... More

I went from 7 to 14 January, with a golf group from Ottawa. Although it rained at some point almost every day (including them having to close the course 1 day), I found the course held up quite well. We quite liked the layout, and I thought the course was a challenge but quite fair from the white tees. The... More

I echo Stuarti from Regina's review (see the review below) - you hit it bang on! Everything you mention about the course conditions, the price and the people there - very accurate! Thank you for writing it. We absolutely love going every year for a week (at times, twice a year) to Varadero to golf and enjoy everything our resort... More
