The original course was a private 9 hole course attached to the DuPont family mansion.... The course is now 18 holes and is in very good condition with some very scenic ocean holes (8,9...17 and 18) plus some very challenging ones...16 is a ripper... Well priced with ok hire clubs and buggies... Be careful booking afternoons in July August when... More

This was a fun and challenging golf course it was reasonably prices with cart and clubs under 95 dollars the scenery was amazing and the course was in very good shape. The greens tend to be a little slow. It is also a easy and fun course for beginners playing front the front tees. I would recommend you play in... More

I came across the golf course whilst on holiday in Varadero and had to play. It cost $95 which included cart and club hire which wasn't bad but balls and tees are quite expensive in the shop so take your own if you plan on having a round. The grounds staff do approach you with good deals so there are... More

Golfed this course twice in two weeks. We paid though out hotel and for $95 CUC we got a round of golf, cart, and club rentals. The price was cheaper than going through the golf club. It is very flat with wide open fairways. Tons of palm trees and water in certain areas. There are a couple holes along the... More

This was course #556 since I started playing this wonderful game 55 years ago. Golf can be a little different in the Caribbean in terms of course conditions. Some courses can be splendid; others can be in really rough shape. I was advised by three of the pros at my home course that Varadero was a nice layout and generally... More

This is an enjoyable course to play. It is interesting and well-designed by Les Furber, and currently in quite good shape despite the lack of water in the dry season. Upgrades to the cart paths are coming, they told us. The hazards are visible and avoidable except for a few forced carries that will frustrate some novice players, and in... More

This course is picture perfect! It's well maintained, the starter does a nice job pairing people up and keeping folks spaced out, and a nice mix of hole types. Our only complaint would be the long line at the beginning of the day, even for people who booked in advance. The people at the desk were incredibly inefficient and not... More
