Went snorkeling for the first time at Coral Beach as part of the jeep tour. Great for a beginner. Don't have to go far off shore to see the reef and fish. A little wavy and difficult to put fins on. Needs a platform. Had a great time.

Great location unfortunately on the day we went it was too windy to snorkel so we just overlooked the site, jellyfish were crashing into the rock face

We snorkelled at the government controlled site. The other end is free but we have no idea what it is like. Where we went, you have to go out with a guide. The cost is 10 pesos (8 if you have your own gear) and a tip for the guide. The coral is amazing with huge coral heads and deep... More

Really really wanted to get in the water but the natives said it was way to rough. even the resort was flying a red flag for no swimming. got here by hired taxi not a tour, looked like it would have been fun! oh well now I have something to look forward to for next CUBA trip

Beautiful, clean beach, nice sand, found some nice shells, Pelicans are lovely to see, some endors but they aren't overly pushy, not much more to be said. I'd recommend.

Be prepared to go in just your swimsuit. Do not take valuables, leave in safe place as there is nowhere to leave them. Reef is quite good, a short way from the steps. More reef about 100m offshore. No platform to sit on to put on fins/masks. Try to go in small group.

If you like snorkeling this is a nice place as the reef is big and there are lots of fish. They will take your picture here and they use fish food in a water bottle to attrack the fish to the area where they take the picture. I would bring my own snorkel as the equipment is just rinsed in... More

The beach was great. The snorkeling was fun it was a little windy but was still a good time. We all wish we could have stayed in longer as it's not a very long time in the water. Also, a lot of locals that wait outside the beach area and they beg for money or try to sell you things.

It was a bit windy when we went but the snorkelling was pretty good. You can get a taxi and go on your own which would give you more time.
