Lots of restaurants here!

We went there to eat at La Grotta but it was closed. Ate lobster at El Retiro. Nice food but expensive. The park is nice for taking pictures or boating.

Josene park is one of the most peaceful pleaces you can find in varadero, specially if you go in the ofternoon when almost nobody is there so you can enjoy the magnificent lake peace you find by looking at the lake and watching the animals enjoy in their natural ambience. The piña colada for me is one of the best... More

nice shady walk through the park, a couple restaurants, pina coladas', the best in Varadero they say, paddle boat rentals. This was a nice escape from the sun and the hustle and bustle of the resort. Kids liked finding lizards, ducks and chickens.

We did a loop of the park and it was nice, but not spectacular. Maybe because it was such a hot day and it would have been nicer to have gone to the beach. The restaurants didn't look too bad and it probably would have been a nice place to just sit and have a drink or a meal. They... More

This is a restaurant for lobster lovers since the cost is very reasonable for a full course meal. This is a family owned restaurant that most likely tailored to locals. A full course lobster dinner with fish and two drinks is 18 CUC. A full course lobster dinner with one drink is 15 CUC. Other full course meals with beef,... More

The owner of the Arrechabala rum factory and brand built this place in 1942 and subsequent restorations turned it into what it is today: a landscaped park, Varadero’s well-preserved municipal park that contains a small artificial lake with geese, ducks, peacocks and ostriches and a swimming pool, plus bars and restaurants that add to the amenities of its natural setting.

Strangely a bit like an English style of park with a very exotic Caribbean slant(and exotic creature inhabitants)Didn't see any fish in the milky jade green waters of the lake, but saw plenty of fantastic looking huge dragonflies and other weird insects. Also there were loads of lizards out sunbathing at the far end of the park (and kept my son... ****definately do get a pina colada...it is the absolute best and say hello to Raffael! ****go eat at the Italian Restaurant El Dante ****Watch the security guard at the park..he locks the bathroom and then he will demand a CUC to unlock it so you can use this disgusting bathroom - even if you have your own paper...rip off!

A beautiful park in the centre of Varadero. A great place to slip into for a cool walk and sit on a bench. There are a couple of amazing places to grab a meal or quick drink to cool off. Walk around the duck pond or go out for a paddle.

A very nice place for families to enjoy. It's a good place for pictures and a nice walk. Food is average, nothing special.
