This is a beutiful park that also has an amazing restaurant. The best part of this place is the little bar by the lake. It makes THE BEST PINA COLADA'S I have had anywhere hands down. They are 3 CUC each and honestly the first time i tried one I ended up staying the whole afternoon as they were so... More

A break from all the people trying to sell you fake cigars and kick back and enjoy an absolutely terrific pina colada (or 5), a nice walk and you can hire little boats to relax on. A worthwhile little trip and free.

Expected more; but it was just a small walking park with not much to offer outside of bars/restaurants. The water was such a toxic colour I would not let my 7 year old go near it. Drinks were a good price, so that helped but it was a let down for sure. Not many people around; but there were grounds... More

It is really an oasis as it is too hot in Varadero! It is worth a visit, it is really picturesque with its palm trees, the lake and the bridges. There is also a cafe and a restaurant. Don't miss it!

History lovers, it is a huge part of Varadero's landmark. Grounds are beautiful, if you need times away from the sun it is fresh and shady. Enjoy a beer of an ice cream walking the grounds that has welcomed "Diplomats of the World for over a century" Fidel use to invite Trudeau to these sumptuous residence and restaurants in the... More

This little park is a great place when it's hot on the main street. The huge trees and lower elevation are a natural air conditioner. I know all about the first bar you get to having great pina coladas, but they are over priced, Walk over the little bridge and take a left and about 100 yards away you will... More

My husband and I decided to take a walk in the park on an especially hot day trip to downtown Varadero. It is a beautiful place with free roaming chickens and ducks. You can even take a paddle boat out (for free) and ride around their lake. We stopped at the small bar by the lake for a drink. My... More

Looks to be a very calming environment, and the history behind the name of the park was interesting. If you get the chance for sure as your tour guide or taxi driver about the history of this small but homey park. There's a small Italian restaurant and a few local bars. It s a nice place to take a stroll... More

The park was very busy and great for people watching. I stopped of for a Pina Colada and it was delicious.
