This magnificent house, gardens and pond (sea water) was built by Jose Arrechabala. He was the owner of Destileria Arrechabala, located across the Cardenas Bay in the city of Cardenas. He "digged" a small channel, from the depression in front of the house, to the Cardenas Bay. The purpose of this was to use his own yatch, anchored in the... More

Great little park for some R&R, go see Pablo at the end bar, he's very friendly & funny.... He's always willing to make a joke or tell a story. Try the sugar cane juice if you go there!

This park is basic and allows you to get some excercise while walking it but there is not really a lot to see, just open space and a few birds. There is some history to the park and if you see it on the Varadero tour (I did a few years back) the guide provides you with the information

A very peaceful, relaxing retreat right in Varadero. Multiple bars and restaurants to take advantage of, take the rubber tire train, peddle boat, or sit back and watch the wild life, we have always enjoyed the shade in the park on a hot day.

Great service, beautiful view, delicious pina coladas! You can get a car to drive you around but walking around isn't too bad either. Wasn't very busy when hubby and I went.

Wonderful nature in the center of the city (Varadero) with a small lake, animals and a restaurant. Worth the detour !

After walking and shopping, stop into the park for a walk and a Pina Colada- fabulous. Can also have lunch or dinner at the restaurant.

I went there but wasn't really impress !! It was a regular park that used to be a beach place for the high ranks people before the revolution. Nothing really attract me from this place!

Love to spend time in this Park, so relaxing, watching the birds , ducks and great scenery. Several restaurants inside the Park to enjoy, or just to sit in one of the outdoor paces for a refreshing drink!

After you have walked the Varadero strip, this is a great place to sit, relax and grab a mojito or beer. The park is well maintained and peaceful. It's worth a visit if you are in Varadero.
