not many people leave their all inclusive hotels but this place offers something different and you can meet more locals.

A free park to visit that was once home to some of Varadero's wealthiest families it was a nice place to walk around but this place also served creamy pina coladas made with milk and a powder instead of out of a coconut. Terrible drink! Too hot the day we were there to use the peddle boats in the very... More

Best Italian food in Varadero. Cozy atmosphere and nice wine list. Service is excellent. I recommend the Pasta special.

Lovely park....It was a hot day and so we enjoyed that there was plenty of shade. Definitely a fun place to bring children. We ate at a nice restaurant on the site as well.

It is like an oasis for locals. It is in the main road in Varadero. Free to go in and the Piña colada is pretty good. Don't use the public washroom at this park.

My husband and I really enjoyed strolling a couple of times throughout this park during our two week stay in Varadero. We even rented a paddle boat for an hour to enjoy the lovely lake and ducks! We even had one of those world famous pina coladas at the paddle boat bar and were they ever good! A bride and... More

It's a nice park,if you go out from the hotel turn right and then again first main road right and walk straight. After around 20, 25 min of walking you will have the park on your left hand side. In the first small bar they serve the best pinacolada ever so don't forget to try it before missing your chance

went for a trip into varedero town, on the straight road near calle 62? we found a park with a lake, on entering the park (which is free and open to everyone) we found a restaurant across from the Italian, which served lobster, we really enjoyed our food and only paid 17cuc each, a well worth visit.
