Many Cuban families enjoying a well maintained park with a few snack bars inside. A river/pond in the centre was enjoyable.

Surprisingly beautiful. Quiet, serene, clean and a peaceful place to visit. Ducks and geese galore and a lake too.. Tried to feed them with grain (the real stuff) but was shunned on many occasions since they're well fed. Worth a visit and after all, it's free. Minutes away from downtown and certain hotels.

Nice park in town . Stroll around the lake , go on a paddle boat or have lunch or dinner at one of the restuarants in the park . Great restaurants with yummy food . Oh there is a camel there too ... lol

The park is really nice. Quite a bit of history to it. A little train rides around as it's quite big. Several restaurants and a bar by the lake where you can take a boat out. Some Sunday's they have entertainment by the main entrance.

I was doing a little walk around Varadero, exploring, and I came across this park and decided to go in a check things out. I had seen what looked like an extravagant bird house and needed to check it out. Its a cool little place to explore and just relax. I had to take a break from walking as it... More

Took an afternoon stroll in this place and must admit it was very pleasant. We entered from the southern side entrance down next to the fairground and took a leisurely slow walk through the grounds and around to the lake on the slightly upper level. The lower end of the park where we came in is mostly grassed areas and... More

many small restaurants just off the main strip. I could visit a different restaurant each day and not get to all of them. I will have to come back and try out some new ones next year. Sitting in the park watching the chickens and wildlife while drinking a pina colada was divine. The chickens are very different than what... More
