Such a cool place to go for a swim. The water is very deep, refreshingly cool and inside a subterranean cave. All this just down the road from Varadero Airport. You can literally get off your plane and be in the cave 5 mins later. Look for it on the road out of the airport.

Went here for a refreshing dip after a snorkelling trip. Cool and atmospheric and they do a top notch pina colada.

For those who don"t mind deep clear water this is a must do. The depth and distance perception is quite amazing when looking from above the water line and then looking below the water line. Bringing googles for a clearer image is a must. There are spots to stand and sit and then a few meters to one side of... More

Definitely worth the visit, especially on a hot day. We've never swam in a cave so the experience was new and interesting. The water is cooler than the ocean so refreshing. We timed it perfectly between two large tour groups so got in/out of the water before 50 other people jumped in which gave us some good photo opportunities. I... More

Beautiful refreshing water. The stairs are fine going down to the cave but are steep and probably are sketchy in the rain. Bring your own snorkelling gear or you will be sharing. The changing rooms are pretty decent according to Cuban standards (don't forget your CUCs for the attendants). Drink available.

This really was an experience the 22m deep pool was so cold it was shocking when 1st jumping into it but after a few minutes in the water it was total refreshment at its best. My 1st ever cave swimming and I only wish more places in the world had pools like these esp in Ireland..

We went here as part of a snorkeling tour. It's really nice, great for pictures. I stupidly kicked a rock and cut up my toe while swimming. Totally my own fault, but swimming shoes wouldn't be the worst idea here.

This was part of a snorkeling trip to Playa Coral. The "cave" is more of a sinkhole/cenote. It is small but beautiful and the water is clear and refreshing. There is a bar/cafe on site.

Beautiful caves really appreciated the cool after the baking heat outside, well worth a visit. Got a private taxi to caves and driver waited approx 2 hrs for us then took us back to our hotel at very reasonable cost of 55 cuc which is a lot less than booking with a tour company.
