This is a fine example of a Cuban museum .The building itself is well restored and is a fine example of the Spanish influence on the country . Ignacoa Agramonte lived here so some personal artefacts .

This is the former home of local patriot Ignacio Agramonte, who died in battle in 1873. It is a beautifully restored colonial residence – one imagines that many of the dilapidated buildings in the area were once like this one, two stores above ground level, open courtyard, big rooms with high ceilings, and finely-carved furniture from Spain and elsewhere. I did not like having to pay to take photos, however, it is another way to raise money toward the upkeep of the museum
