A little paradise with white sand and palm trees.... This place is very close to The Bahamas and Turks and Caicos islands. Loved it !

Just returned from a week at Club Amigo Mayanabo in Santa Lucia Cuba. While there, we took a 20 min horse ride to Coco Beach ($20 return). Wow! What a place! This beach is located in a small inlet west of the Santa Lucia hotel strip, and is ten times the sea weed ridden beach back at the hotels. Beautiful... More

Last year (2013) we hired a horse carried and went to the village of La Boca, about 9 km from the hotel. It was so hot that we did not spend too much time on the beach; instead, we kept walking along the old coral shore, in front of the houses belonging to the village of La Boca, whose residents... If you like fishing, bring your gear to Coco Beach, and try your luck at the rock point, approx. 300 ft after the last restaurant. There are big fish in the canal down the road.

Coco Beach has a beautiful beach, far superior than the beach in front of the resorts in Santa Lucia. No seaweed. The town is a small fishing village where the people are warm and friendly. It's a place to meet and hang out with locals.

One of the highlights of our trip was our two visits to Coco Beach and to be able to witness the flight of the flamingos on the way there was a definite bonus. The trip is approx 8 km on a fairly rough road and you can go by car, taxi or horse and carriage. If you do go by... More

We took a leisurely trip to Coco Beach by horse and buggy which we booked with one of the handsome cowboys from “Horse Ridings Tours”. They walk up and down the beach and you can’t miss them. For 15 CUC’s each it included the horse and buggy ride there and back……about 8 kms each way and lunch of lobster, shrimps... More

We went to Coco Beach for lobster dinner and had a blast! I do not eat lobster but we had chicken and I swear they brought us half the bird. The sunset was awesome and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the dance lessons. A great experience.
