I don't smoke cigars, know nothing about them but if you want to learn and see it done for 10 CUC, for about a 45 minute tour led by a charismatic university student -- it is well worth it. And there is a store onsite as well

We took the factory tour and it was very interesting and informative for me. Even if you are not a cigar smoker, it's worth a visit.

But a cigar. Amazing to view this government run cigar factory where all cigars are made for local consumptions. Be warned, no bags and no cameras allowed. Facinating to watch the process of sorting the outer leaves, the rolling, pressing and testing.

He questioned the handling and...

Beware that you CANNOT take photos during the tour and the tour itself was rather fast. We spent more time shopping for cigars/rum downstairs than on the tour.
