Very good music, very well played jazz with good players. Very good food, my steak was really good and the service was also good.

If you like Jazz you must visit this cafe at least once during your visit to Havana. Jazz cafe is just opposite Cohiba Melia and safe to walk cross or you can arrive there by taxi. They have live musiz every night. Different groups play good music. Food is reasonable priced but drinks are little bit pricey. All and all... More

We stumbled across this place after sitting in Cafe Paris, the band finished and in broken Spanish managed to ask a taxi driver to take us somewhere to dance. After a high speed taxi ride in one of Cuba's vast classic cars we arrived here. Cover charge was a bit steep and drinks a touch pricey but band was fantastic... More

Music was fantastic. The staff was rude. Food and service was terrible. The AC is freezing, the room is very big and the atmosphere is quite cold when there are few people. In a nutshell, not friendly, and above all not clean. If you go for the music which was great (even if it was way too loud), stick to... More

Located on the second floor in a small shopping mall just opposite the Melia Cohiba hotel I found this restaurant to be one of the very few restaurants in Havana were you can have decent Italian dishes. At night the restaurant becomes a Jazz Club with some of Havana's top musicians. Very nice!!!

This is a newer restaurant than most. Which is why it surprised me to see a woman at the washroom door looking for tips for toilet paper. It just seemed that this restaurant would be upscale enough that toilet paper wouldn't be an issue. My meal was good for typical Cuban food but my husband's pork was undercooked. We didn't... More

This place is relatively touristy with sub-par (though edible!) food and decent drinks. They are often missing a lot of ingredients for various dishes and cocktails, but that's fairly standard for Cuba. It's an alright place to go if you're in the area. If you really want to hear good live music, go to Café Jazz Miramar. It'll blow you... More

The Jazz Cafe bar/restaurant is just in front of the hotel Melia Cohiba in Vedado, where I lived a few times. They serve an average food at good price, and the mojitos are generally good. I attended two jazz performances and I enjoyed them. Shows start at 22:00 and they charge 10 CUC to entry, creditable if drinks or food... More
