I can't believe that people go to a Jazz Cafe and complain about chicken. I have been here twice. You pay a small entrance fee and you can have 4 mojitos with that fee. Second time I have great sea food too. But hey, this is not what you go to a cazz club for. If you want chicken go... More

Went their three times in December. First time: just to eat. My friend's half chicken looked grea (he said it was). My spaghetti w. shrimps? Shrimps (small ones) were tasty. But the spaghetti sauce tasted suspiciously like Ketchup. Mojito was terrific and low price. The next evening went again......this time to hear the music as well. I really wanted their... More

Saw great live jazz here! Didn't eat here. Didn't find any extra protein in our drinks. Friends drank rum and coke. I had beer. Worth it for the music.

Music was fantastic. Food and service was terrible. Rat droppings in the bread. Staff thought it was hillarious. Glasses are washed with a rag. Kitchen staff using the toilet and not washing their hands. A cab driver explained these conditions exist in all state run establishments. The pallidars (private) businesses have more at stake and have higher standards. If you... More

This place was recommended to us and I can honestly say I wish I had never bothered. You are charged 10 pesos entry for food, drinks etc and then you pay the difference after this has been used. I had chicken with chips well if you can call it that! The chicken was the greasy skin with about 1 mouthful... More

We headed to Jazz Cafe based on a recommendation. However, we were apparently late for the performance as it had started half an hour earlier than what we were told. After that, the bar converted to a standard dance club without much of a floor to dance on. As a cafe I wouldn't go there without a live act. The... More

This jazz club is what it says on the label - a jazz club. You almost get yur entry costs back in free drinks, you don't feel under pressure to drink more than you want to either. Is frequented by locals, supporting their friends and odd guest spots were a nice surprise. We were two women and didn't get hastled,... More

This jazz club is located in a modern building. The actual club is well air conditioned and smoke free. We heard a fantastic jazz band perform. They offer a full bar and there is an extensive menu if you want a meal.

This is a terrible place full of unprofessional staff, bad food, bad service....and bad everything. I´m Cuban, I use to go there during summer time for the last 8 years. In the past, the Jazz Cafe was a nice place to go, now... please do yourself a favor and do not go there. The staff is rude, the cocktails are... More

We were looking forward to an authentic Cuban experience...ethnic food, great music, and the promised $10 charge that included food or drinks up to that amount. So we paid the cover charge, then at the end of the evening we were hit with the cost of our food and drinks, essentially doubling the bill. My family was reluctant to cause a... More
