El Malecon or the sea side walk is a relaxing place to seat at the end of a day of visiting the city and before going back to the hotel to get ready for the evening. I sat there for a while just let the soft breeze calm that hot sun of the street and look to the horizon. In... more

After walking through some of the more middle-class suburbs of Havana, we ended up on the Malecon - the sea wall of the city. It's quite a long walk, but so varied. Nearer to the Fort (Fortaleza de San Carlos de la Cabana) you're more likely to find dodgy characters hassling you over cigars, a casa particulare, etc. but further... more
