Make sure you bring your camera at the Sun-set to take amazing pics of The Malecon and its old cars around.

Nice place to stroll on the seaside - it's best in the sunset/evenings, when many people go there to hang out or fish :) Has some new LED (or something similar) lampposts the whole length, very modern, so it's abundantly lit in the night.

It was for me a way to feel la rambla de Montevideo that I miss so much ! Of course the quality of the sea its not comparable to our river, but the atmosphere is very much alike ! I have seen also people drinking mate ! It is definitively a spot for appreciating the view, talking to people around... More

A wide road linking Old Havana and Miramar. Lovely views around the bay. In windy conditions the waves crash over onto the road. The road gives you a timeline of architecture from the old to the modern and the different states of repair of the buildings. locals wander along here.

This is real Havana, not the tourist nonsense you encounter everywhere. Locals are here fishing in the day time come out at night to drink and socialize. Oddly enough, there are crowds of locals, including some selling snacks and other items, yet this was the only place we walked and didn't feel harassed by some scammer. I got some awesome... More

We rented a couple bikes and got a long amazing ride with great views. Even everybody told us Cuba is safe we did saw a Cuban guy stealing a watch from an American tourist. Dont panic but just be aware and don't get over confident.

On my last day in Cuba, I finally got to walk along the El Malecon. Meet many friendly Cuban's who are curious about the USA. Check the fishermen.

Great place to walk along in the rain. After a few margarita's we walked from the Hotel Nacional de Cuba all the way back to Parque Jose Martin in the rain, stopping occasionally for a refresher and dry off, Great architecture along the way to ponder.

It is Havana's famous seaside esplanade. It winds alongside Havana Harbor and stretches from Old Havana to Centro Havana for 8 km ending in the Vedado neighborhood. We find people selling fishing supplies and catching all sorts of sea life, ranging from octopus to eel. A lot of sailboats are interspersed with the occasional working vessel. Some of the boats...
