If you want to see a relic of a great epoch, not so long sinced past then this is it. A great city to explore on foot but to save on blisters and complicated maps take the bus instead and enjoy a different perspective. If time is short then this will give you an overview of whats there but at... More

The bus tour from Varadero to Habana was an all day event. Our guide went into the history of Habana. In Habana we had an 1 1/2 hr walking tour of the old city and then a great lunch, a visit to one of the old forts and a driving tour of the more modern area including Revolution Square. It... More

The Habana Bus Tour is not a hop on hop off bus tour like you find in many other cities. It's rather a cheap way to reach some of the outlying hotels and the cemetary. The announcements are short and hard to understand. You learn nothing about the city and see almost none of the touristic highlights. Skip this tour... More

On a hot sunny day, just go to Plaza Central and get on the red double decker for 5 CUCs. In an hour and forty minutes, you will see a lot of Vedado and Malecon, which are totally different from La Havana Vieja. It is worth a ride!

We had a choice, long bus tour with 30 people, or a personalized, photographed, informative, fun, relaxing, comfortable and at a comparable price tour with Yosel ... which would you pick. We chose Yosel Vazquez: Photo Tours. Yosel and his driver Rolando picked us up on time (which we were able to choose the pick up and return time). I... More

About 14 years ago, I used to visit Havana quite often. I had friends living there, taking me to places outside the tourist area, inviting me to their homes. This winter, I managed to persuade my husband to take a vacation in Cuba and one of the things we did - was a bus day-trip ( 8:30 AM to about... More

The tour is on an open top double decker bus and takes about 2 hours. It starts in the square in front of the Iberostar Parque Central hotel so is easy to find. It's a really good way to get a feel for the city and is only 5cuc's per person.

We took the town, as opposed to the beach, tour from Parque Centrale. The bus was pretty old with grey plastic seats and the windscreen was badly cracked on our bus. Unlike in other cities there is no recorded commentary. Instead we got the occasional comment from the guide in fairly unintelligible English. The tour took one and three quarter... More

The red tour buses travel either west to the west side of Havana or east to the beaches well outside the city limits. It would be adviseable to have an idea where to pick up the bus (after you have hopped off for a walk-about) if you wish to do so on the return trip back to where you came... More
