These tours are very popular with tourist. We therefore have decided to establish a branch in Cuba. We believe it will be a great success. We wanttourists to enjoy the beauty of historical Havana. This Caribbean gem has captivated travelers since Christopher Columbus. It is undoubtedly „paradise on Earth“.La Habana is known for its popular „American cruisers“ that still crisscross the busy streets that give not only Havana, but Cuba, the whole atmosphere of the extraordinary American fi fties. History Trip offers you comfortable and fully refurbished cars. These cars represent the „Elite“, who lived there until 1959. Each car has its own unique history. We are ready to provide a complete travel service for both – individuals as well as for groups. We invite you to the fifties, choose one of the programs offered and plunge into Ernst Hemingway, Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra and the Mafia Corleone! « less

We spent a beautiful day cruising Varadero in a classic american car with a great driver and with Amel, a really knowledgeable tour guide. First stop was for a delicious Pina Colada at the highest bridge in Cuba. We visited the cigar shop at the Historic Military Park where we saw the Guiness World Records longest cigar. Then, Amel suggested... More

Blexie and his driver, Wilfredo picked us up at the hotel at 08:00 in the 1957 Chevy. During the 2 hour drive into Havana, we talked with Blexie, learned a lot of history and about life in modern Cuba. Blexie is an English instructor at Matanzaa University and his command of the language is excellent. We visited major tourist sites... More

What an amazing day trip to Havana. We were in a private taxi (56 Dodge) that was in mint condition. Armando was our driver and Winnie was our guide and translator who spoke perfect English. After travelling to Cuba for the 31st time I am embarassed to say that we finally made it to Havana. We travelled through a few... More

We booked this tour online and the whole process was very efficient. Rafael was at our hotel in his wonderful white Ford Thunderbird exactly when promised and gave us a comprehensive tour of the sites of Havana; explaining the history of both Cuba and Havana. Rafael is lovely and his knowledge of English, history and politics is a great reflection... More

This tour absolutely made our trip/honeymoon! I emailed History Trip a week before we arrived in Havana and got a response the same day confirming that a 8 hour tour would cost 100 euro plus 40 euro for petrol. We arranged to meet Rafael at our Hotel (Iberostar Parque Central) at 9 am. We were a bit worried it might... More

Our day trip to Havana with private tour guide Blexie (and his driver... and a beautifully restored candy red '57 Bel Air!) was a highlight of our recent Cuba trip. Here's why: 1. Blexie is a young English teacher at the local university who is fully fluent in English, extremely knowledgeable and very accommodating. He was an absolute pleasure to... More

Having been to Havana on a number of occasions I was very pleased to meet up with an excellent tour guide - Amel. His use of (Canadian) english was very good and he had a good understanding of the history of both Cuba and Canada. Both the driver and the car were prompt, clean and courteous. There were some out... More

My husband and I found this tour very informative and interesting. Lots of history, many interesting buildings to see, lots of museums to see if you want...we were given the option to go to the big flea market which we opted for because we wanted to bring something back for our kids and grandchildren. Our guide told us about this... More

Most of trip was held in this type of mode: drive to location, get out and hang out for 15 min to take pictures, repeat. Not many explanations provided about the locations themselves, only a bit of history during the drive itself. Also it felt like the tour guide was telling about what happened up to 1959, and then –... More
