History Trip was founded in 1996. We specialize in sightseeing tours with old-time Praga cars in the historic part of Prague. These tours are very popular with tourist. We therefore have decided to establish a branch in Cuba. We believe it will be a great success. We wanttourists to enjoy the beauty of historical Havana. This Caribbean gem has captivated travelers since Christopher Columbus. It is undoubtedly „paradise on Earth“.La Habana is known for its popular „American cruisers“ that still crisscross the busy streets that give not only Havana, but Cuba, the whole atmosphere of the extraordinary American fi fties. History Trip offers you comfortable and fully refurbished cars. These cars represent the „Elite“, who lived there until 1959. Each car has its own unique history. We are ready to provide a complete travel service for both – individuals as well as for groups. We invite you to the fifties, choose one of the programs offered and plunge into Ernst Hemingway, Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra and the Mafia Corleone!

The two and a half hour drive from Varadero to Havana took just over FOUR HOURS each way, as the bus had to stop at about 15 hotels pick up 40 people. No washroom on bus, yet they sold beer. Guess how many times the bus had to stop for PEE BREAKS? We got very little tour time in Havana.... More

We had a great day with Osniel, he has great knowledge of the area and taught us a lot about the history and culture of Cuba. We were picked up on time and had full day and a excellent lunch. The car was a nice 50's vintage and the driver was great. There is no comparison to a bus tour,... More

Radek is a class guy. He delivered for us in a crunch and we'll be forever grateful for his help. The tour was awesome as well, but the guy himself I can't say enough about.

the full day was horrible , our guide wasn't much of a guide didn't tell us enough about the historical facts , people got lost making the rest of our group sit for hours on the bus , spent no time on the things they said we were going to do , the only good part was the lunch and... More

We were in Havana overnight on a Caribbean Cruise Recently and rather than book the ships classic car tour which we had done before and was rather expensive,we book a 2 hour private tour of Havana with this company. The cost for 3 adults in a 1959 white ford Thunderbird Convertible was $105.Our driver was Rafael who was there opposite the... Knowledgeable english speaking tour guide, great lunch. Very good day. Tour guide stopped at great roadside bar for pina colada. Couldn't visit the museum for some reason that we didn't really get the answer for.

Radek was fantastic. From airport pick ups to helping us out when our luggage didn't arrive too. He goes the extra mile. The tour itself was informative and we went to places that only someone local can know - including the fantastic fresh fish restaurant and the secret garden too. We were with him from 9.30 am- 10.30 pm and... More

My girlfriend and I stayed in Cuba for 10 days. We heard about the day trip to Havana and immediately booked our trip. It cost us about 70 pesos (100 Canadian) and was well worth it. The tour guide came to pick us up around 8am at our resort in a big, comfortable, air conditioned bus. The bus was full... More

I have just returned from a Friendly Planet People to People tour to Cuba. Words cannot express what a wonderful time I had. I visited Old and New Havana and Varadero. Not only did I tour typical tourist sites, but I also had the opportunity to visit schools, artist studios, community farms, and performance centers. It WAS a People to People... More

We explored Old Havana with its narrow streets, churches, and cobbled plazas. We walked around Old Havana which included visits to the Old Square, Arms Square, Cathedral Square, San Francisco de Asis Square, Ambos Mundos Hotel (This is where Ernest Hemingway used to visit). We saw and visited many other attractions to many to list. Finally we had diner at... More
