loved passing the Princess Diana garden ( UNesco celebration) to get her and holding the finger and stroking the beard of the bronze vagabond to bring us luck.

Very popular with other tourists this square has a shipping boat terminal at one end a a convent at the other. Saw street performers here, lots of eateries and adds to the Havana experience.

Visit the shady Mother Theresa gardens next to the church on the square. They are a haven of tranquility.

Buildings and streets around are great places to take lots of photos, chopin is tucked away on the bench and San Francisco is nearby so you can stroke his beard. Jardin Del Oriente is a good spot for dinner or lunch in the al fresco dining gardens. Post office is the place where all the folk queue up to buy... More

Great statues, fountain, wide open square and wonderful architecture. Pay the few CUCs and walk through the former church. We were lucky enough to witness an opera rehearsal. Great acoustics and very peaceful.

A charming square with a variety of architecture in Havana Vieja. Enjoy a few tranquil moments on a bench to savour the atmosphere. Dinner at the Hotel Filipe ( with seat outside door with statue of Chopin sitting on it) is delicious and extremely good value for money.
