Excellent beach to get away from Havana for a day or two, $5 cuban pesos bus ride from downtown and you can rent a chair, ombrella and have drinks and food on the beach. More

Not far from Havana (30 minutes by bus) but not the best beach of Cuba.. Nice to get away from the heat and dirt of the city. You can rent chairs for 2 CUC for the day.. More

Tropicoco is a very nice beach where you can do a lot of people watching. We ate at the outdoor restaurant on the sand and the grilled lobster and shrimps was delicious! The only down is that there aren't any bathroom facilities and it took some time for the beach workers to clean up the bottles from the night before.... More

Beautiful location on the beach- but not many services- we couldn't use the hotel bathrooms or get a coffee. I'd still go again though.. More

Too bad there aren't more garbage cans and signs for the Cubans and tourists to stop polluting the lovely beach. More

Liked: the atmosphere, umbrellas, warm water, happy teenagers everywhere. Disliked the empty discarded rum bottles and trash on the beach. More

Take the frequent T3 tourist bus from Parque central. Pick a stop along Playa de Esta. Hit the beach. Easy! We chose to get off at Hotel Tropicoco (an ugly all-inclusive hotel – unless you are staying there you can't use the main facilities… thankfully). Fortunately there is a small corner shop on the road and a couple of nice... More

We rented 2 lounges and umbrellas at the gay section. I have forgotten the name of the beach but it does start with a C. For 3 CUCs round trip fare you take the beach bus from the plaza in front of Hotel Inglaterra and in 20 minutes you have a choice of 5 beaches in the Playas del Este.... More
