loved it here, not sure if its because its so untouched but you can feel the history and see the jaded beauty which in itself is beautiful. Havana as a whole is vibrant and exciting and every building tells a story that unfortunately one day will probably be buried under a thousand sky scrapers if your going to go do... More

OK, so I gave this 5 stars because I am just obsessed with Ernest Hemingway. The house was amazing to see, though you can only look through the windows and doors from the outside. The only down side to this was how many people were at the house at once, was hard to get the perfect pictures without getting other... More

Items stolen from our boat, no accountability. Sold items at restaurant never delivered, constant harassment to buy this and that. Everyone is my "friend" to sell me something. Constant harassment from staff for money, and rum, hardly a peaceful day. We were there off and on for an extended period. The Fiesta staff are AMAZING, food amazing, great prices for... More

This review is primarily for mariners planning a visit to Marina Hemingway by boat. The marina is in URGENT need of improvement, upkeep, rehabilitation, remodeling, etc., etc. There is only one restroom/shower facility, which also acts as a 24 hour bar, and it is located on the western side of canal 2. So, if you are placed more toward the... More

Originally designed for up to 450 yachts current capacity is down to about 150 slips of which about 50% are permanently occupied. Like all of Cuba the installations are in pretty bad shape although water and electricity, up to 50A, is available at most slips. The guards are a pain in the neck, just like the bureaucracy to enter and... More

Firstly, Hemingway marina is a lot further out from Havana than I thought, its about 25 minutes out and on average we paid 20 cuc for a taxi in to Havana. The marina staff that we met were absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful. I think this is probably due to the low pay thought out the country, tips go... More

Marina has multiple canals that accommodate small yachts and SuperYachts alike. Power connections are North American type. The power coming from them is not reliable to be consistent. Voltage is not regulated well which could cause problems to sensitive devices and equipment. Area is secure. Staff is friendly and helpful. Facilities include restaurants on site, showers with hot water, bar,... More

I was there few month back, and I have to said I was kind of sad, Marina Hemingway was, in the 90 s, the place to be, amazing condos, the best disco in Havana, amazing restaurants, today is like war zone, it need a fast and deep renovation, place looks abandon, I was there one week and no elevators, was...
