Too much for nothing. Average mojito, rude people, open till 23.00, if you are lucky 23.30. The good thing is that it has no pressure from night girls so you can have your drink peacefully. The group changes every day and the cigars that they sell are expensive. Buy a t-shirt, and get s picture with the wall posters. Sure... More

Nice mood with live music. Great to have a mojito and smoke a cigar. Very fun place to be. Also bought a box of cohibas in the shop (next door) cheaper than cigars factory.

Stumbled up this place on our 1st night in Havana. Sat at the bar and just enjoyed mojito after mojito after mojito, they have a mini mojito production line which is great to watch. It was busy but not crowded that you couldn't enjoy the buzz of the live music. People salsa outside just a good place to go to and... More

They had live music and the place was literally packed with tipsy tourists that Tuesday afternoon. Nevertheless, I managed to exchange my five convertible pesos for a good mojito. The drink was very good and I enjoyed observing the crowd all wanting to pose with Hemingway lookalike writing on his typewriter was worth the experience. Come here for a quick... More

Great food in the restaurant. A fantastic atmosphere with local music playing and this drawing locals to the street outside to dance. Lots of rum and cigars.

In terms of eating and drinking, Bodeguita del Medio is distinctly average. The restaurant/bar is a tourist trap trading off a connection with Hemingway. Ambos Mundos and Floridita were more enjoyable and made for a better experience.

I came to this restaurant on my second day in Havana. The service was very transactional (quick and rushed) and was offered a mojito right away. The mojito was not good, and after I learned that there is no proof that Hemingway did come here for mojitos. We got the food and well, it was good and a lot of... More

A bar linked to the history of Cuba, good music, and one of the best Mojitos (tipical drink) in town. Don't forgot to have a special look on the pictures all over the place.

When I visited Cuba for the first time I was 10 years old and I felt in love with this place. The atmosphere, the music, the people... There was magic in the air. When I came back someone had changed, they were selling souvenirs and the place was full of tourist. By the way I would love "la bodeguita" to... More

it is simple, you are going to pay way too much for a drink here... But what a great drink. The mojito was one of the better ones. We sat in the bar up front and you are about 6 feet away from the band. Everyone is having a great time and so it is a lot of fun to... More
