You need to be careful when you go as storms can disturb the water clarity but provided you do it is so easy to get to on the Cayo Coco highway, just catch the 5 pesos return double decker open top bus.

Just like the Seychelles talcum powder sand, sea like a turquoise warm bath. No hotels one being built nearby. Tourist trap restaurant 100 yards from beach. Very expensive.

most beautiful blue clear water. Sand as soft as baby powder. Lots of fish if you like to snorkel. You can take a bus from any of the resorts and the cost is $5.00 for the return trip.

It was windy the day I was there and it was fun jumping into the waves. The beach is beautiful. Very wide white sand and lovely water. There is a restaurant that is open for lunch from 1 to 3. You need to pay 2 pesos for beach chairs. There are washrooms. I went there on the double decker bus.... More

Whether you do the excursion (lunch included) or you take the bus (5 pesos) to the beach, you must do it at least once! I think had I have known it was soooo beautiful, I would have done it more than once! I took the double decker bus, it was great, you see some flamingo's on the way. The price... More

This has to be one of the nicest beaches I have ever been too. It was amazing, there is a restaurant and bar located there. The beach offers a cabana for 10.00 for the day with 3 drinks included, well worth the money.

This is a definite must. It is ranked as the nicest beach in all of Cuba and in the top 10 in the world. You have two options for this excursion. Pay 30 CUC to take an air conditioned bus there and back, lunch provided, and reserved seating in the shade when you get there. Or you can do it... More

Pilar Beach is the most gorgeous beach I have EVER seen! The water is crystal clear and the sand is super soft and pure white. You do have to pay for beach chairs but they are only 2 CUC's each. They have a restaurant there that is pretty cheap. Our whole afternoon there we only spent 12 CUC's and that... More

We spent our 5 CUC and went to Pilar beach for the afternoon. The bus picked us up at the Memories Flamenco and you paid and got your return ticket on the spot. We went on an overcast day so the breeze was wonderful (and we weren't fried in the hot sun). If you take the bus on a super... More
