Cold beer

the beach was nice the beer was ice cold which we appreciated after a 45km ATV ride to get there. I am not sure if we missed something there, it was nice not spectacular.

Good beach with the sun warming the soul, crystal-clear and fragrant sea air. This eleven of the best beaches in the all Caribbean. I highly recommend Resteurant with fantastic lobster!!!!

Took the hop-on/hop-off bus there twice during our trip. A truly gorgeous beach. The first day was a bit windier but still not too wavy to swim at all. Second trip we took our snorkel gear and went down to the left side and snorkeled by the rock. We ended up in the middle of a school of thousands of... More

Maybe a bit spoiled by the beach and ocean near my resort by the time I got there. Very nice- don't get me wrong. Paying for chairs makes them a few bucks I guess. Beer is cold, and a bit cheaper I think, at the building where you can rent catamarans. Double decker bus trip was fun on top, not... More

It takes a little while to get there but it is well worth it. They have a snack bar and you can rent chairs for a few bucks. To save a little money you would be better off hiring a taxi to take you there than purchasing tour package through Sunwing.

Playa Pilar is one of the most beautiful beaches I have even seen! They have a lot of star fish there and the sand is so white and the water is crystal clear which makes it easier to find star fish and other fish in the ocean A DEFINITE MUST SEE

Excellent beach to spend a couple of hours. Water is crystal clear, fine white sand, nice to walk along. Takes almost 60 minutes to get to if you use the hop-on hop off bus (only 5CUC).

Pilar is a beautiful beach. The sand is like baby powder, water crystal clear. Make sure you try the lobster and shrimp special, along with the pina colada served in a coconut.

This beach is touted as being the best on Cayo Coco by tour staff; it's nice, but our resort's beach was just as nice. You can rent long chairs, and there's a beach-front bar, restaurant and bathrooms there. There's a big resort being built right now just down from the beach; it'll be interesting to see how that shapes up.
