powder sands, chrystal clear waters where you can see your feet below, fairly shallow so you can walk out quite a bit for non swimers

My 4th time to this beach and I was out of there in 3 hrs. The amount of garbage I saw in the ocean and the construction along the way turned me off. Unless the government intervenes this oasis is headed for a disaster.

That was the most beautiful beach I have ever seen! For a little money, you can take a bus that brings you there for the day. It's worth it.

It's a nice beach, but terribly over marketed and over hyped.Voted top 5 beaches in the world ? based on what? Seriously, I've traveled the world, and this beach does not make me go "whoa... I totally see why it's in the top 5.". I traveled with a group of 10, and we all came to the same consensus. If... More

This is a beautiful white sand beach. Crystal clear water and a good restaurant. Just grab the bus with pick ups at all Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo hotels

If you are staying in Cayo Coco you must visit this place. There is beautiful, clean white sand and clear turquoise sea. if you dig in the sand (20 cm) you will find a lot of small shells... :P This is my video from this trip, enjoy :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwOA5p2c88U

If you take the double decker bus that runs around the cayo's, yes it takes awhile but Playa Pilar is beautiful. We rented a covered bed for shade for 10$ and got 3 free drinks. The water is so clear you can see fish. Kick up the sand and you will invite them even closer. Bring a floatie, snorkel etc... More

We found a sunbed straight away and felt secure in leaving our belongings. The sea was so clear and warm. We got drinks at the huts along the beach which were freshly made and very tasty! Id... More

This beach is at the end of the Cayo's & we reached it via the hop-on/hop-off bus from the other end of it's loop at the Sol Cayo Coco. I'll begin by saying that this beach won't stay the way it is for much longer as there's at least one new hotel going up next door to it. Although nothing... More
