45 minute bus ride from Melia Cayo Coco, but well worth the visit. The sand is white and sea is crystal clear!

very nice beach; unfortunatly hotel construction will change the setting as soon as it's ready. Big complex under construction righ now so soon Pilar Beach will be no more the natural beach it is now

Considered to be the most beautiful beach of the Caribbean, Playa Pilar is definitely a must if you're in Cayo Guillermo or Cayo Coco. Very easily accessible with a hop-on hop-off bus (5 CUC for a day ticket) passing several times a day by all the main resorts in the cayo. Snorkeling trips to a nearby small reef/island are available... More

The excursion for Pilar beach is very cheap. You can take a bus that picks you up at your hotel for 5 pesos. It is the most breath taking beach I have ever seen. It is a must to see it. They have a quaint restaurant there very cheap and good food. They also have coconut drinks on the beach.... More

powder sands, chrystal clear waters where you can see your feet below, fairly shallow so you can walk out quite a bit for non swimers

My 4th time to this beach and I was out of there in 3 hrs. The amount of garbage I saw in the ocean and the construction along the way turned me off. Unless the government intervenes this oasis is headed for a disaster.

That was the most beautiful beach I have ever seen! For a little money, you can take a bus that brings you there for the day. It's worth it.

It's a nice beach, but terribly over marketed and over hyped.Voted top 5 beaches in the world ? based on what? Seriously, I've traveled the world, and this beach does not make me go "whoa... I totally see why it's in the top 5.". I traveled with a group of 10, and we all came to the same consensus. If... More

This is a beautiful white sand beach. Crystal clear water and a good restaurant. Just grab the bus with pick ups at all Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo hotels

If you are staying in Cayo Coco you must visit this place. There is beautiful, clean white sand and clear turquoise sea. if you dig in the sand (20 cm) you will find a lot of small shells... :P This is my video from this trip, enjoy :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwOA5p2c88U
