Traveled to Bonaire on the P&O Azura cruise ship 4th February 2015. Met up with Wiim at his promotion tent near the cruise terminal, 8 people signed up for the tour, Wiim drove us to the Yacht in his Jeep which had seen better days. Once all on board we set sail out of the mariner into open seas we... More

Visited Bonaire on P&O cruise, don't go on their rip-off excursions, looked at what was on offer onshore. Never been on a single-hull sailing yacht before and only been snorkelling once before but decided to go with Compass after talking to Wim. Good decision, really enjoyed the trip. We were taken by Wim in his beat-up Jeep (his minibus needed... More

We were in Bonaire aboard the Explorer of the Seas in January. Having never been here before we were not sure what to expect although we had heard the snorkeling was amazing. We do not like to book excursions from the ship as they are usually too expensive and overcrowded for what you get and thus prefer to look around... More

Arrived Weds. on the Royal Princess with out an excursion planned. Compass had a stand just off the pier. Decided to take a chance and it was a great decision. The sail out to Andrea 1/2 beach was fun. The crew seemed to truly enjoy their guests and answered all of our questions about Bonnaire and island life. Wiims sarcastic... More

We chose the Compass as the last highlight of our honeymoon, which took us to all 3 ABC islands. We were not disappointed! The sunset cruise took us to the island of Klein Bonaire, where Guus took the guests on a snorkeling trip along the island's reef. Plenty of wildlife could be seen in the crystal-clear water. While everyone was... More

We cruised to Bonaire on a Holland America cruise and arrived December 22nd 2014. We didn't find any excursions listed by Holland America that appealed to us so we went to Trip Advisor and found Compass Sailing and booked it online before we even left the USA and they responded right away with a confirmation. The price was very competitive... More

Trip Canceled, what a bummer, and a good thing! We had booked with Compass for the dinner cruise and the trip was cancelled. Wim, the owner, had waited until he was 100% certain that the trip would have to be cancelled. As we live on island we know that this is not something that operator's wants to do, it does... More

Add a dinner cruise on the Compass to your Bonaire must-do list! Captain Wim and crew member Guus delivered beautiful views, plentiful cold beverages, delicious food, and great company. Our 5 hour excursion included sailing, snorkeling, dinner cooked aboard the boat, and a beautiful Bonairean sunset. We've been visiting Bonaire regularly for many years and now feel somewhat foolish that... More

This was my first time on a sail boat and I could not have picked a better company to sail with. Wim,Guys and Nonni, did an excellent job of making sure we were comfortable. They always had drinks and light snacks available for the sail out. Once arriving at Klein Bonaire the snorkeling portion was amazing. Once back on board the... More
