Everyone needs to experience this at least once. It is a rough ride and the brochures tell you how long it will take - so take your time. Enjoy nature.

Bonaire marine park is just what it is a great marine park. Enjoy, but respect the park!! The sight offered here are limitless! you can almost choose what you want to see and your dive school/lodge/shop should be able to tell you where you can find it!

All protected reef around the entire island. No comparison, this is the most beautiful reef in the world as well as a wonderful island.

Shore diving all over the west side of Bonaire is similar. The north end is the national park and the diving there is not dramatically different. The scenery above water is interesting with some rocky hills and lots of cactus. The shore line is lava rock with mostly cliffs but the dive sites were at the few beach areas. Roads... More

As we were walking along the dock after yet another spectacular boat dive, a young doctoral student asked us if we would take a survey. Always eager to help out graduate students, I agreed. But after the second question, I handed back the iPad on which the survey was being taken and told her that I didn't feel it was... More

We did 15 dives in the National Marine Park and each one was uniquely beautiful. We saw 4 sea turtles, 2 spotted eels, 2 green moray eels, an eagle ray, bait balls, an octopus, and too many tropical fish to name! We also did a little snorkeling, kayaking, and windsurfing. The shore diving was so convenient, and navigation was easy... More

The national park is well worth a visit. It hold the most scenic spots on the island. I have never seen water like it. The land is rough and rugged and a wonderful contrast! 4X4 essential
