We had been diving multiple times per day all week and decided to day a day's break. Well, we did throw in the snorkel stuff--just in case. This is a very interesting area, loved all the cactus and the use of the cactus for fences. This side of the island is different from the rest and unusual. It is well... More

Great snorkeling around Klein Bonaire island, much better than off the (west) coastal line. Take the watertaxi from Spice Beach Club and snorkel two hours. You will sea plenty of fish. For corals go to the snorkeling place "Just a Nice Dive" (rather big currents in the water). The nicest snorkeling trip operation is Sea Cow. They go at 8:30... More

How wonderful to dive in a place protected by Stinapa! Shore diving is the best - navigating is so very easy. Great diving at your speed, on your own schedule. Beware.. leave NOTHING of value in your vehicle. Still does not detour me from going back again and again.

Bonaire will spoil you for other dive sites. I saw so many things. Sea life and sea plants. I just wish I had more pics.

This is a bit of a drive, and will take a full day, but is well worth the trip if you want to either hike Mt. Branderis, or snorkel or dive in places that are bit out of the way. The visitor center at the entrance also gives you a great (but brief) overview of the island's history, geography, and... More

First off the drive into the park is so fun! It is worth the adventure. although getting out of our car at one point the iguanas came running out to the car! I'm sure looking for food but a bit alarming. But later a pretty good laugh. The rugged beauty was enough to go back. Snorkeling in just a few... More

The park is wonderful and a great break from diving. Go on your last day or take your tanks with you- there is some great diving along the way. Hire a guide and do some hiking. A great time will be had.

This was our second time through Slaagbai National Park. It is a one way road through the park and it requires a STINAPA pass, plus a fee for the park ($25), but this covers your snorkelling fee for using all the dive sites on Bonaire. Food and water only available at the park entrance, and although the road looks short... More

Dive anywhere here, plenty of sights to see. Will return and support the park and stay longer. Shop for best dive centers for safe diving.

We spent most of the day driving the long route. It is a rough dirt track. We stopped and had a picnic lunch. No food is sold in the park. Saw wild flamingos several places, but few other birds or wildlife.
