Protected reefs and eco-conscious populace: what more could a diver or snorkeler want? The Marine Park makes Bonaire one of the only truly protected areas in the Caribbean.

Great place for both diving and snorkeling. Eels, turtles, coral reef fish and simply endless dive sites. If you get a diving pass, you enter Washington Slagbaai National Park for free ;)

Great accessible reefs, well protected. Boat trip to Park is about an hour, some chop in the water, not too bad as it is on the lee side of the island. Nice drift diving, some giant lobsters to see and other critters.

Bonaire has the best diving in the world. The entire island (or surrounding reef) is a Marine Park, and it is wonderful to say that it's healthy, vibrant, and alive with fish, coral, etc. We are currently on island, enjoying 2-5 dives per day, drive up to any of the dive sites, walk in, and start an hour+ dive. We've... More

Bonaire's water is perfect for snorkelling. You can go in the amazing cristal clear water right off the shore. Do not go to Bonaire if you are looking for a nice beach. The only place to find one hear is actually not on the island but on the small uninhabited island of Klein Bonaire. There is a water taxi to... More

All of the underwater world surrounding Bonaire is the Marine Park. We didn't get to dive all of the sites, however the one's that we did, were not disappointing. Great place for shore diving and some great creatures to see and observe.

The Little Mermaid must not have lived in the Bonaire Marine Park, because if she did, she'd have had no desire to ever leave for dry land. The diversity of fish, coral, sponges, and other creatures here is phenomenal. I am a snorkeller, not a diver, and this is certainly a place where snorkelling brings great rewards. The water is... Bonaire is renowned among divers and the Marine Park is why. Bonaire's rocky coastline and warm waters are inviting and the Marine Park works to protect and preserve those waters and the fish that live there. Bonaire was the first island to formally establish a protected reserve and every diver pays an entrance to dive or snorkel in these waters.... More
