I say semi private as several tours and water taxis take visitors to the island. Snorkeling is great here and there is a shelf which would be good for divers. There are no facilities! However, the beach is lovely. Bring Cheerios to feed the fish and they'll swarm around you. In the deeper water there were small jelly fish. The... More

Great snorkeling trip, a must when you stay in Bonaire. White sandy beach, lots of fish amd corals. We went there with Caribe Watersports that have an early ride on Sat amd Sunday at 9:00 from Eden Beach (North of Kralendijk, after the harbour). That was a great choice as the place got crowded after 11:00!!

Hired scooter from scootersbonaire.com ($25 US a day) and spent a perfect day exploring the island...from thr beaches, to the nature preservation and salt marshes. They provide maps and were helpful - no helmets rented but locks and emergency contact info. In case or breakdown. Good scuba sites marked with yellow spray painted rocks.

What a beautiful island, crystal clear blue sea and white sandy beaches, came here via a 'Junk' sail boat ( P&O excursion) and the Dutch crew and captain gave an very informative talk on the island as we sailed there. Snorkelling was OK seen better fish and variety in the red sea but ideal for a beginer. Well cared for... More

Took a boat to Klein. It was nice but no need to get on a boat to go out there. Pretty much the same diving. I think its better for snorkelers or beginner divers that don't want to go on their own or are having a hard time with shore dives.

We drift snorkeled here, the reef is beautiful and we saw many colorful fish. It is amazing how well they take care of the reef. You can easily access this island by water taxi or choose a vendor that are right outside the docks. I wish we had chosen the woodwind, will do so next time.

This was our second time to this beautiful island. Just a wonderfully quiet place. Husband likes to snorkel whilst I enjoy the peace and quiet. The sea is crystal clear - clean and ecologically well managed. We will return! We took the trip via Celebrity cruises. For bird lovers - you will be in for a treat with some beautiful... More

Klein Bonaire is one of the very best places in the world to Snorkel. We came in on a cruise ship, and you see the water glowing as you're pulling into the port. From the cruise terminal it's a short hop on a boat to get to Klein. It's a must do. I've been to the "aquarium" in Bora Bora,... More

We went on a snorkel trip with SeaCow charters and had a great time. The fish and coral at Klein Bonaire are beautiful Klein Bonaire means little Bonaire. The whole island and the area around it are a marine reserve. People running SeaCow are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Although the diving from shore is fantastic on Bonaire, the short boat trip to Klein, just minutes off the coast opens a whole new world. Some of the sites are very similar to that see on shore, but much steeper with more diversity of sea life, coral and colors. Was amazed to see a 20 to 30 pound lobster and... More
