I have been here several times. Fun to take the water taxi over if just snorkeling. Excellent diving here as well. There are no bathrooms, no food or water, and very minimal shelter from the sun. On one trip, I decided to walk around the entire island. It will take at least 4 hours, and parts are tough walking with... More

Take the water taxi from Kralendijk to Klein Bonaire, they will drop you at Klein Bonaire and from there you can swim next to the coral reef. The many fish we saw is unbeleavable and we also saw a sea turtle swimming next to us, this was the cherry on the cake of our holiday. I deffenately recomment this to... More

Klein is about a mile from the shore of Bonaire (Klein means "little") and was purchased by Harry Belafonte many decades ago to prevent a casino from being opened on the island, then gifted to Bonaire with the proviso that it never be developed. Hence, it is almost completely undeveloped and remains little more than brush, sand, and salt water.... More

If paradise exists, this surely has to be it. Less than 0.5 miles from the mainland, Klein Bonaire is a 1500acre islet that is uninhabited. You can reach it by water taxi (approx $15 return) or you can hire a boat. Klein is part of the Bonaire National Marine Park and is home to turtles & the occasional flamingo. Snorkelling... More

I strongly suggest the trip in this desert isle. Fantastic snorkeling all around going in water by the beach. It's a tough experience due the strong wind, sun and lack of shadow!! But these points make this isle so rude and out of the usual holiday facilities.

We took the water taxi. We were told to walk about to kilometres along the shore to a rock 'start' to snorkel with the current. What a pleasure to do this. the small island has no amenities but you can bring your own food and drink. There are two open huts for everyone to leave there stuff. There is no... More

Once you get off of the water taxi make sure you walk a little and within minutes you feel like you have the island to yourself! Take everything with you for the day and enjoy!
