If you want to rent beach chairs and an umbrella, upon arrival ask for 'Quincy, Derek or Tim' and they will look after you. There is a small bar for drinks and snacks, its not cheap but is convenient. If you want lunch, ask for 'Spider', and he will take your order and bring local Bajan food directly to your... More

I stayed at The House on Paynes Bay Beach and it is a lovely beach. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Lovely long beach for a daily walk and/or swim. Sun beds can be hired. Although busy it is never so busy that you feel crowded.

Clean, clear warm sea; powdery pale sand ... bliss! Great walk to be had and great for snorkelling. Watch out for lots of washed up coral.

This beach is beautiful. There are protected swimming areas and also coral areas for snorkelling. We snorkelled with a turtle within 10m of the shore. You can also swim further out to where the sightseeing cruises swim with turtles although I think marker buoys would be advisable as there is a lot of boat traffic. The beach is beautifully quiet... The stretch of beach between paynes bay fish market and Sandy Lane hotel is one of the worlds most gorgeous beaches, the sand is soft the hotels and apartments are a wonder in themselves, loads of eater sports are offered and you can watch the boats arrive to check out the dive wreak and the turtles. Perfection!!!

Fun beach on the west coast of Barbados with several opportunities to do water sports. Good plce for getting a jetski ride and the new "flyboarding".
