After finding that my first choices for a catamaran cruise in Barbados were unavailable, I finally booked El Tigre based on price (cruise dicount!) and reviews. I'm glad it all worked out the way it did because we had a great time. My only complaint was that the bar opened the minute you step on board, which one obnoxious passenger... more

I was on the El Tigre with my mom in Feb, 2009. We both enjoyed it thoroughly even though she didn't snorkel or drink alcohol! There were 4 guys on the catamaran who were busy the entire 5 hours of the excursion, whether it was pouring drinks, setting up the sails, cleaning up, showing us where the turtles and shipwreck... more

We sailed on the Carnival Victory 12/07/08 - 12/14/08 and took the 5 hour El Tigre Catamaran swim with sea turtles and lunch cruise. El Tigre offers a 3 hour cruise for $60US, a 5 hour cruise for $80US (less a $10US discount if you are cruise passengers). It is well worth the extra 10 dollars for the extra 2... more

My husband and I booked El Tigre for the day our cruise ship was in port... and are so glad we did! A kick back, laid back fun sail. The staff is very accommodating, helping you with defogging your mask, or feeding you until you can't float. They were also helpful upon exiting and entering the catamaran. The snorkeling with the turtles was great, and it's always fun to snorkel along the reefs and enjoy the colorful tropical fish. My husband and I took this cruise the day after we got married.
