Amazing views - good course - lacks a few small luxuries but no slouch.

I've been lucky enough to see this course from a few different perspectives. As a resident of Royal Westmorelands and as a tourist. It's a golf course with a great vantage point looking down to the West Coast of Barbados but with tropical lush green scenery directly surrounding each hole. The course itself is no slouch and the pins move... More

Don't go!! The course is pretty. We saw monkeys. There it ends. It was very expensive, more expensive than the Sandy Lane Country Club and nowhere near as good. $540 US for two, and you get no water, no GPS, no beverage cart on the course. We didn't see any on course rest-rooms/toilets either. The course is not in as... More

Royal Westmorland is a fantastic golf course with lots of changes of elevation. It is kept in first class condition and has an amazing club house. Bit pricey but well worth it and cheaper than Sandy Lane.

Visited Royal Westmoreland Golf Club again this month. Played 3 times. On the 3rd game we were asked to tee off from 10th tee as work was being done at one of the holes. No problem in that, but when we got to the 6th green we were met with a huge digger, doing substantial work in front of the... More

I am not a great golfer, but I can appreciate a world class course when I play it! I am fortunate that my best friend is a member here and he took me out for a few rounds. Very challenging course with massive changes in elevation and awesome hazards tonsay the least. Thankfully there is cols water provided on several... More

Just back from a lovely two week break in Barbados. During the holiday I played golf at all of the main courses on the island. All amazing and the staff were all amazing and I was made to feel so welcome. However, there is one thing that I hope may help. On arrival at Royal Westmoreland I prepared to pay... More

We spent a month there and it was fantastic. Walking around the Course was wonderful and the Club House, Pool and Restaurant was so convenient. The Rum Shack was a feature and their Staff members were friendly and lovely! The whole of Barbados is a wonderful and friendly island, too. Weather was amazing hovering around 30 C everyday, even after... More

My family and I have had a lovely week at the Royal Westmoreland. This was my 2nd visit. Despite us having to pack up all our belongings and move villa twice it was an amazing week. The golf course is outstanding. All the staff are very very helpful and friendly. The house maids are always cheerful. The villas are great... More

This is a great golf course it is challenging but even a beginner can get round. The views are stunning. If you are able to play here give it a go try and get an early tee time and take plenty of sun lotion. When you have finished drinks and lunch in the club house is a must.
