Don't play this course for the ocean view. You can see the ocean but it very much in the distance. The course was is good shape and a caddie is mandatory. Ours was very helpful in getting my swing back in order. They however really push to keep the pace up. I am a very fast player but this was... More

This is a beautifully maintained course with great views and facilities, but our caddy Richard spoilt the day. He appeared bored and indifferent and made very little effort to get involved in my game. These guys aren’t cheap so it was disappointing that a club of this quality tolerates such poor customer service.

My caddie made the day - Elvis Hoyt. You are assigned a caddy - 1 per cart. Wide open expanses, beautiful course. Little to no rough and immaculately groomed. Playtime was never hindered. If you're a singleton, like I was, you have to tell them if you want to join someone. Course was not very challenging, but much fun to... More

sandy Lane Country club is a great experience - the only course I have ever played with both a buggy and a caddy, amazingly enough you need the cady to read the greens for you - they are both fast and tricky to read - the knapp runs towards the sea if you know where it is! The course is... More

The country club is the golf clubhouse for sandy lane. A terrific pro shop with well priced branded clothing and golf essentials. The terrace is a lovely place for either lunch or cocktails at sunset with amazing views over the west coast and golf course . If shopping take your passport to take benefit of the duty free pricing.

Just back from a great break in Barbados which included three rounds of golf at the country club Sandy lane. Although the greens were being cored and sanded the course was in great condition and the greens did not spoil some great golf. The restaurant after our game was excellent with a great choice of food and excellent service. The... More

Stunning view across the golf course with the sea in the distance. Great service as you would expect at Sandy Lane. The food was well prepared more bistro in style with hearty portions. The only downside was there were a number of flies but that's the price you pay for alfresco dining

Played here today, but in all honesty the course was not really that interesting compared to The Royal Westmorland . Very wide fairways and hardly any real hazards other than bunkers. Superb clubhouse and pro shop. We did not eat there because we first had a couple of beers and we were invaded by flies. One had a drink of my... More

This is a must for all keen golfers, expensive, but worth every penny, lunch up there is incredible, and if you lucky you might bump into the great sir Garry sobers, who is a legend up there,
