Although all beaches in Barbados are public, Crane beach, because of its location tends to be used mainly by hotel guests and nearby residents. Weak swimmers should not venture too far into the sea however, as the waves are sometimes quite boisterous.
Beautiful white sand, crystal clear water and amazing opportunities for pictures and family fun! Also an added bonus is that Cutter's Deli will deliver their fabulous lunches along with Rum Punch Directly to the beach!!!
Beach is wonderful, ocean is quite rough and difficult to stand up in, but fun when the waves throw you back.
This was most incredible and beautiful beach and ocean-view. The color of the water..the aqua-teal Carribean blue, white sand and beautiful sunny days.
We stayed in the South Coast but went to The Crane for lunch which allowed us acces via the hotel to the beach. The day we went it was extremely windy which made it feel quite cool. It was worth it though as this beach is beautiful and has very high surf. Would definitely recommend a visit.
The beach is beautiful. The resort's elevator takes you down 3 levels to the beach. The public access takes you down, alongside the cliff where a couple of vendors were selling carved coconuts and jewelry. The crystal clear torquoise water is breathless. You can rent chairs off season for $5US from the guys at the end of the beach who...

We loved Crane Beach. It is absolutely a dream with its incredible beauty with roaring waves, pink tinted sand, ocean cliffs, bluish green tinted waters, and convenient beach services. As guests of The Crane, we had access to the glass elevator down to the beach, chair and umbrella service and a beach towel exchange. The Crane has food and drinks...

We were recommended to go to crane beach and wow what a great recommendation, the beach is amazing, so clean and such beautiful clear water. We can highly recommend a visit.
In my opinion, Crane and its surrounding beaches on the East Coast are the most beautiful on the island. Although Crane Beach can be quite rough at times, it can be fun for bodyboarding/bodysurfing, and is lifeguarded so a little safer for families. The sand is bright white and beautiful, while you can hire sun loungers to use. The beach...
