Despite what many have said this is a great beach. In early July it was unfortunately affected by sea weed and tropical storms (it is on the Atlantic coast). To complain about this is like going to New York in December and complaining that you can't do anything because of snow. They were just unlucky. I have visited 7 times... More

It was suffering from a lot of sea moss, but beautiful and pink and the service was exceptional. Free beach chairs! And loved the towel card idea. Always a fresh towel.

Hands down the most visually stunning beach on the island. Big waves. Caution to small children and weak swimmers. Umbrellas and chairs for rent. Food available and delivered from Cutter's. However, this years visit was a disappointment because of the seaweed and sea lice. Certainly not anyone's fault as we visited other beaches and they all have the same problem... More

I visited this beach last January visiting family nearby. On a nice day this beach is gorgeous! The waters are a stunning aqua blue and the sand super soft. There is even a small cliff from which you can jump into the water and plenty of waves.

Numerous pools/spa/fitness club, restaurant, beach access by elevator, historical site, all inclusive village, good Consierge service. Needs more crop event activities.

The beach isn't easily accessed as you have to walk around a cliff on small round paving slabs perched on jagged rocks. The beach itself is not one of the best on the island and when we were there was completely covered a foot deep in seaweed. Staff from the hotel were raking it into nets and dragging it into... More

We were disappointed with Crane Beach. It did not live up to the hype and our expectations. What we encountered was a “red flag” non-swim able beach with crashing waves, dead seaweed and many sand fleas. The sand was a very beautiful white quartz but was covered with ridges of dead seaweed. The waves and undertow were so violent that... More

We went to the Crane on our way to the airport to depart as we wanted to see where were were going to stay initially. It was beautiful. The hotel is definitely where we should have stayed instead of the Bougainvillia. The beach was lovely but access was either via an elevator which took a while or a thousand steep... More

My family will usually book us in for sunday brunch as the hotel has gospel singers in and the buffet breakfast is fantastic, but you really must book its always packed. then we will make our way down to the beach where we will spend the day. it is normally quite windy so you do not feel the sun and... I had a lot of fun at Crane Beach. Public access to the beach involves walking over stepping stones; if you have mobility issues, beware. The sand and water were beautiful. Since it is on the east side of the island, the water is pretty rough with big waves. To the side of the beach, there are some steps that... More
