Small operation but, big on flavor chocolate products. Very informative and very knowledgeable presenter, who was the owner. Lots to learn about chocolate, where it starts, and where it finishes, and what happens in between. Provides lots of samples along the way. Takes about an hour and a half to complete, so great thing to do while you are in... More

This a small local chocolate factory and the tour takes place on site in the small product facility. It is very interesting to learn about the whole process from the picking of the beans/fruit to the finished product. Taste test the raw sugar and coffee bean as well as several of their chocolates.....my favourite is the rum and caramel....but the... More

We recently did a cruise that stopped by Barbados. We happened to come across this while walking aroudn town. The tour was our favorite activity of the whole trip. We learned a lot, and the chocolate is amazing!

This is a fantastic option of you are looking for something different! This tour provides an in-depth, intimate look at how chocolate is made. It is less than one mile from the pier at Bridgetown - and you will pass local vendors and scenes along the way. The tour - and chocolate-making education - is conducted by the owner of... More

We visited this place as part of a day out in Bridgetown. It is only a relatively short tour but well worth it in my opinion. You are taken throu the chocolate making process from beans to bar and get to sample the goods at many stages. Our host was really good and a genuine guy, I felt pleased to... More

This was such a great tour. I have been to Hershey but still had no idea of how chocolate was made. After this I completely understand the chocolate making process now. The tour is pretty quick and they give out a lot of samples. Definitely worth a visit and their chocolate is fantastic!!

Great tour and chocolate tasting. You are able to sample all of the chocolates Agapey makes during the tour as well as getting a first hand look at how all of the chocolate is made. I found this to be a wonderful experience and one I would absolutely do again.

The hour was hosted by a man who loved his subject - chocolate! We tasted chocolate in all its forms from the bean to a rum and caramel delight. I loved the 70% pure strong chocolate. He described the process of chocolate making demonstrating various machines welcoming questions. I wish him every success with his venture

We discovered the Agape Chocolate Factory a couple of years ago on one of our annual visits to Barbados for vacation. We stopped by again to visit and to load up on that fabulous chocolate! I suppose chocolate is an acquired taste for some, but this is prepared with cocoa beans from various islands in the Caribbean. It is superb.... More

Instead of any of the island tours, my wife, mother-in-law and father-in-law, and I visited the factory. Talk about personal; there was just the 4 of us and we had a 1 on 1 with the owner who spoke about the the ingredients and the process that goes into making the chocolate. We saw first hand the machines and we... More
