A personal favourite in Barbados. Flat, turquoise water at the southern end of the West Coast. Easily accessible and safe for weaker swimmers normally.

not recommended if you want to lie on the sand and sunbathe as it's very rocky but it is a great spot for a picnic. However you can picnic here and walk 5 minutes to a sandy spot - get the best of both worlds

We went here 3 times in 10 days. Once on a drive to check out the west coast. We had a picnic lunch here. Back to try snorkeling - it was a bit wavy = sediment in the water so poor visibility. Then back again to watch the sunset. We were twice on weekends and it was fairly busy with... More

This is an ok beach - somewhat out of the way and really good for snorkelling. They call it Batts Rock because of the Rock so don't expect it to be smoothe for swimming. There is a decent car park if you are driving down. The best one can say is that it is less busy than the south coast... More

Beautiful beach idyllic, hardly a soul in sight, extremely clean what else can I say but paradise. If you want clear waters and soft white powdery sand then you have come to the right place no doubt about it. Bring your sunscreen and a towel you won't be disappointed. If you want to stay a while also bring some sun... More

secluded beach with no facilities so come prepared, beautiful swimming area, plenty shade, watch the local fisherman cast there nets for bait. Very quiet and peaceful. You do get the odd party boat passing by, which adds to the fun.

Batts Rock Beach was one of the closest beaches to the Black Rock area, where we were staying. We really enjoyed it's peaceful and quiet atmosphere, white sand and turquoise green sea. There are no restaurants right on the beach, because it is so private that you will only see about 10 people a day. It was like a little... More

We stopped at this beach whilst on a cruise and it was just amazing place. Very private and sun drenched. Excellent but with minimal facitlities so go prepared.
